Owing to the shuttling nature of the Polar Express trips in addition to the longer consist, WMSR uses a pair of diesel-electric locomotives on the hind end of the train to facilitate reverse running and for dynamic braking. Their Ex-Amtrak F40 does the honors, sporting its crisp Leslie RS-5T. Enjoy =)
