If you need to thicken joints you can use floor polish or clear nail polish to thicken the joints and that will help with the looseness. The Transformers fandom

At this point, I could probably learn the skills and do a better job than the trash team at Hasbro.
Josh, if it wasn't for this channel, I wouldn't have known about Walgreens listing to buy the original Zhane when I finally did. I might still get this because it looks legit.
The figure is fine but the cycle looks like a Happy Meal toy to me. For some reason I can't get over the fact it doesn't transform. That's it's whole... thing!

Personally I wish I could have found the Walgreens one. But the gold paint does look better on the newer Silver Ranger.

This one I've got pre-ordered and I'm cowering in fear at the possible QC problems it might have.
I just got mine today at target and im pleasantly surprised to say my figures hips arent very loose. Not anywhere as loose as urs was. Only problem i have with mine is that the lower ab crunch doesnt really work, like urs it kind of springs right back. I couldn't tell in the video but on my copy of the figure at the seams at the sides of the ab crunch i noticed the seams are split, not sure if i did that trying to articulate the ab crunch or its just like that. It doesn't appear to be broken.
Mine is exactly the same… this is super disappointing. No indication from the team what so ever about any of these issues. Classic Hasbro.
Awesome review! I'm really happy I canceled my preorder for this one, I just don't need it, I'm very happy with my current In Space Silver ranger figure and I just don't need the cycle. It looks cool, but I already have the figure and the complete team, so I don't need another In Space Silver that, imo, is an inferior figure to the original release due to the loose hips and other issues. But I did get my Blue Senturion figure yesterday and omg he's so awesome! And you were right, he looks amazing posed with Phantom Ranger!!
I’m glad this one is more accessible then the original Walgreens one cause in space silver is one of my favorite suits, so yeah I want this one. Also I’m glad deluxe wave 3 has your approval
i picked up this one for $16 at my local target, dont know why it was on sale but it was the last one there.
I like the darker gold on the new one.
Yea im glad I stopped collecting Lighting Figures, every figure has some problem and it gets worse. Especially with a dumb price hike for lower quality. And I hate this plastic free packaging, cant see the issues with what you’re getting and them packing it in a bag is so ghetto . Its like pulling out a bad meal from McDonalds and you get some soggy sandwich
I personally have the Walgreen one myself was not expecting him to be there I would just they're looking for a different Walgreens exclusive I found him instead
They probably saw all the people breaking their Izzy figure by trying to swap the head and decided to put the helmet by default to try mitigate the bad publicity as much as possible. That neck joint looks very fragile.
I doubt it. The promo pictures from October show the back of the box how it is in the final release and that was before Izzy's figure released

Really it's that lower torso that's crap.
The bicep swivel I believe looks aesthetically better on the old body as it doesn't expose a cavity.
On paper I understand why they used the body. It's possible their prototypes didn't have these issues. So maybe just maybe the next production batch will get fixed..........no it won't that's the thing about Hope, it's denile.
"Frankensteining" is awesome hahaha. I did exactly that for both my Silver Ranger figures. Head of the new and body of the old + Cycle.
The loose hips are definitely because of the drop down joints, it’s a problem on a lot of the G.I. Joe figures too. I really wish I could have gotten the original release, because I’d rather have the tighter figure and more paint. I think I like the colors better too. The bike is cool, but I don’t really need it. If it could change forms that would be better, but I still wish I could have paid less and gotten the original release
They should remake figures with cycles like dino charge red with the dino cycle
I think that would be cool, but I think maybe since we already have red (and there’s the whole problem with the pinless figures) I think they should do it with either Purple, Aqua, or Graphite because those haven’t been made yet and I think Aqua and Graphite especially should come with a vehicle.
Would be cool if they made the rangers in their regular space uniforms

The fandom wanted pinless joints and drop down hip joints. This is what they get.
I guess if it also transformed into his glider that would've been about 10 bucks extra. Ha!
Is the pinless body torso thicker than the original? Sort of looks that way to me, but could be a trick of the silver plastic color.

However, what is the point in buying it if it doesn't work as intended?
And the shoulders are still wrong. The ONLY Space Ranger to get the shoulders correct is Yellow, but the Ashley portrait was weak. Disguised Andros got a pass for not featuring shoulder paint in the first place.
I can't believe deluxe silver ranger is inferior in every way.

The set has a March 1st release date in Europe so probably somewhat soon

That's why no one gets stuff from Vietnam ..... Deffo in a down hill for Hasbro. UK still doesn't have dragonzord and barely wave 13 was it with the re do of mmpr black.
The lack of transformation is a bit of a deal breaker for me. I still have my original Bandai version and the engineering to make it happen is quite basic. I'm sure Hasbro would tell you adding the transformation would have broken the budget.
Being Canadian we get all the Wallgreens exclusives at Game Stop so much more accessible than a local drug store. I have the original so unless there is a solid sale price I'll pass on this one.

They have the same amount of gold. If you mean shade, plenty of those.
The Visor I think is actually more accurate with the new guy. We just picture the shape to be a little different then we remember.

On the arms. There’s less gold paint going around it.
And the top of the boots dont have as much gold either. That one isn’t as noticeable, though.

He doesn't have any pull on how the figures are made. He literally just buys them and reviews them
He has no real pull but I agree with you. This new mold sucks. I get they're trying to compete with import companies when it comes to tech but if it's going to be executed terribly, they shouldn't do it at all. I don't even know why drop down hips are needed with figures like these. Drop down hips are generally only used for figures that the sculpt impedes articulation range, and your basic power Ranger is not one of them.
