Got any tips for gaining stamina for someone who’s just getting back into it?

@Joelontugs For sure! My favorite way to gain stamina is to ride as much as possible. However, that's not always possible, so I do other workouts like running, swimming, and rowing to build stamina and overall strength. Pretty much any cardio will help, but using a rowing machine has been my favorite recently, since you're pulling on a handle similar to a ski handle.

When I attempt to jump and get good pop, my line goes slack and the nose of my board dives into the water. Any thoughts of what I might need to work on to prevent this?

@ChadMartinson-LaunchBlox This can happen for a number of reasons. One possibility is that when you're leaving the wake, you might still be carving up it, which can cause the launch to be strange occasionally. However, one of the most common issues, though, is bringing your hands up when you're in the air. This causes your shoulder to be pulled forward and starts the nose dive.
So, when you're doing a jump, try to carve hard initially, then let off the carve as you approach the bottom of the wake. As you go up the wake, your board will be flat, allowing you to pop more consistently. As you're coming up and releasing off the wake, make sure your hands are glued to your waist/hips. Get them as low and as tight in as possible. This will prevent the rope from pulling your shoulders forward, causing the nose dive. If you do these things, and keep practicing, you should have a nice level flight. Start small and work up from there. Hope this helps, and let me know how it goes! Good luck!
