@@gangaskumar7651 There were candidates from NZ, UK, US, India and China. After giving a general introduction, they (A representative from University and a teacher representative) asked a question about a particular topic which each of us have to contribute something. In my case, the question they asked was about various challenges in teaching. Then they will split us into two groups and it's time for a group discussion. The topic should teachers choose what they should teach. After that we had a literary and numeracy test During the discussion part, I tried to be polite and not dominating, but still having a conversation with the people. (Especially in group discussion in which I was grouped with two foreigners, one from NZ and other from UK). The Numeracy test was easy (Anyone who have studied maths till 10th could score a full mark) and if you have some kind of writing skills (Which you will definitely have since you need a 7 in IELTS writing), you can easily pass the literacy test too. Pls do understand that this was MY EXPERIENCE, and yours may differ. At the end of the day, as Chechi rightly mentioned, teaching is a hectic job. Therefore, when they ask why you wanted to be a teacher (in the introduction) I suggest that do not give a fairly tale answer; pls, pls give a good genuine reason. And of course, passing the interview is the first of many many steps. So get your hopes high once you have atleast got your student visa.
