this is really spectacular. It felt incredibly immersive, with the introduction, the fortress, the voices and the multiple components of the set design. It really achieved what a stop motion sets out to do!
Thanks! I tried my best to create a well rounded action brickfilm. Sounds itself nearly took me a week - makes me respect the amount of work animators like you put into your stopmotions even more!
Amazing job! I love the backgrounds, the animation, the voices, and the trooper at 3:22, everyone’s fighting for their lives and this dudes just chillin, sitting down while shooting.
I just got this in my recommended. I remember watching it when it came out and wanting to get as big as an army as you. You also encouraged me to start stopmotion.
Excellent work! I love the back ground and the set was really well built. But most importantly, you only used phase one troopers and that was the best part. A lot of people use both phase one and phase 2 at the same time and it bugs me. So good job!
Thanks! I'm glad you noted the use of phase I troopers as the setting is during the early stages of the clone wars (using Phase II would be historically inaccurate) ;)
That and the mixing of units has always bothered me in most stop motion videos so this was very much appreciated and all great video keep up the great work.
Every time I hear troopers on bulwarks saying "Steady, men, steady" in Lego Star Wars films, I always think it's a reference to pizzamovies' 501st Legion brickfilms. Could it be possible that that's some sort of reference to his work? XD
@@pinnacle_pro Those brickfilms were some of my favorites back when I started using UA-cam in 2009. He's been a huge influence to so many LEGO Star Wars brickfilmers and it's nice to see his legacy still going nowadays.
This is amazing I love the set design I love the action the animation and the story and I love how you did the lasers and laser impact this is a great video amazing job
I love the work and voice acting. Keep it up man! You should keep using your amazing talents with not only stop motion and voice acting but story telling too! I have my own clone army but I don’t have the pieces nor the motivation to build a cool MOC like you have here! It’s really inspiring for younger generation that are getting into LEGO to enjoy this and figure out what they love about LEGO and LEGO Star Wars! Amazing work!😊
This was impressive work. Especially including Separatist organic units as partisans to fight. Speaking of Partisans, it would be a really cool idea to see Saw Gerrera’s Partisans in a stop motion successfully raiding an imperial base for supplies.
Thanks! - I didn't want to use only droids as this would give off the wrong impression that only droids fought for the separatist cause. The idea of partisans raiding imperial bases during the imperial era is interesting - I agree!
@@pinnacle_pro Of course! I used to watch them with my buddy and we'd make our own videos. What I was thinking of specifically here is this one ua-cam.com/video/DA9SiMVstVg/v-deo.html
Nicely done! However keep in mind that giving the ”bad guy” a german accent is quite offensive since germans don’t want to be associated with nazis and stuff like that. Even though it happened back in the 1900s people can still be very sensitive about that sort of stuff. But otherwise the animation was solid!
I understand what you mean, but would you really call the separatists “bad guys”? I mean, from the POV of the republic, they were traitors, but we can empathize with them in the sense that they were fighting for their own freedom from the corrupt republic. This is an aspect I tried to convey by including human soldiers in the story instead of just droids - the separatist army was not just mindless droids killing for fun. However, I do appreciate the feedback 😃
So I only have a limited number of phase one white clones (around 7 or 8 during the filming of this) and I try to fit them all in the scene whenever possible. I reuse the clones that were on the outside wall on the inside because I shot all the scenes of the wall before I shot the scenes of the inside of the base.
@@pinnacle_pro I hope you get more because for example I have 5 phase 1 clones of the new battlepacks and 1 of the 2013 clone trooper vs droideka set and I recently got them and in these animations when I was a kid I was like "wow he's like 50 white clones... one day I'll have so many I hope he gives me 3 ;-; "and now I'm realizing xd, I mean it's really difficult to get simple phase 1 and even more of the ones in your video where did you buy them at bricklink?
Idk why but that tank commander with the German accent felt so correct
Haha interesting
the background painting is a next level
I didn’t think he/she would paint a painting
thanks
Man you are good! Alonso nice to see you interact with your veiwers.
This is my favorite Clone Wars stop motion and I've watched this like 10 times over, thank you for blessing us with this master piece.

There was a point in the clone wars where they were both used

Solus Lupus, it bugs me a lot as well.
Yeah, true, I don't think constantly using both p1 and p2 at once is accurate though, as you say, it was very brief...
This is insane new sub! 😎
Those voice impressions are really good! Love the stop motion too!
thanks man
7:19 that droid voice was hilarious😭🤣
haha thanks!
Great work on this! I love all the subtle movements of the rubble and debris especially as the speeder goes by!

those are not rebels - they are the planet militia that has sided with the separatists

my voice modified with high pass filter, graphic EQ in audacity to create the "helmet like" effect
