Just painted up and jammed w/ this crew this past weekend. the control aspects were incredible but wow I need practice and i plan on studying this video as well!! thanks for what you guys do!!
It is definitely wrong about depleted not stopping covert operations. Covert does not care wether the model engaging your model is insignificant or not, it just cares wether your model is engaged. Same logic that makes it so that insignificant models can score cursed objects. The strategy just checks if a model with a curse token was killed, it does not check what killed it.
Definitely Gweneth is underated by you guys. This model has been an auto pick for me. The rig 3 is amazing. The draw 2/3 cards is amazing to refill your hand for future rig your deck cards. I understand she's 9 stones and without too much defensive tech but I comply have this model filtering 3 cards and then possibly drawing another 4. Although a lot of my play was in GG2 with lynch 1, I am still excited to play her in Lynch2 gg3 and onward.
The problem our team has w her is that 9 SS is a ton to spend on a support model that isn't Kitty D. I'll admit that she was good in GG2 but a lot of what she did well became a lot less valuable in GG3 and esp in the "super friends" build that tends to favor Lynch2. My hope is that when GG4 drops she'll find new life.
Kitty has more value BC she can actively help deliver your beaters into the face of your opp and can also score most schemes in GG3 on her own. So she helps w the unpack + alpha strike ... then goes off and scores pts for your crew. Gwen for the same cost gives you mid level card draw and you loose the positioning and scoring ability. Then, if you take both that's 18 pts gone from your list, so not ideal. If you're looking for this kind of effect a great sub out is the Kunoichi since the selective card advantage often leeds to a 12 or 13 from tools for the job ... and even w the OOK tax shes 7SS vs 9SS and has a amazing kit on her card.
I'm a bit of a Malifaux noob, and haven't played lynch 2 yet, but what sort of synergy does Amai have with luck thief? I looked at the card and nothing popped out.
@@pthepersistent7369 Threaten allows you to slap Adversary (x) onto Lynch. You declare your opponent's keyword, and now anytime they make attacks against Lynch, they get a + flip which turns into a - flip because of Luck Thief.

Thanks!!!
I'm pretty sure the rules say you can look at both discard piles at any point... too lazy to really check it though^^
I think the Opponent's Discard Pile question could use clarification in the next FAQ
I still can't get over "Youko is a better judge of character than Lynch when it comes to hiring bodyguards"
I mean ... she is
To be fair, Jakob didn’t have a lot of choice since Graves was one of two guys bailing him out

Yea, IDK why Sam said that ... he's wrong. You're correct.

No love for the Amai? Seems like it would be super interesting with Luck Thief on Lynch2.
Honestly we just forgot her. I think Pope mentioned her like minutes before we filmed and we hadn't made a thumb 💅

@@MarcTheBored Wow, see this is why I like this game, so many cool interactions I haven't even thought of!
@@pthepersistent7369 I'm just now getting to a spot where I'm starting to feel I am reaching an intermediate level. The complexity is very rewarding!
