You two are always great together! In general the whole group has so great vibes (Daisy/James/Francis/Justin/Jimmi...) Enjoy your stay in LA! 😊🤙
Was SO much fun!
I would love it if you came back to the US and maybe do RAGBRAI, It's an annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, more than just a bike ride, it is an epic eight-day rolling festival of bicycles, music, food, camaraderie, and community. It is the oldest, largest, and longest multi-day bicycle touring event in the world. Starts on July 22 and finishes on the 29th.
Love the rock!! But love yooooou (and Rob) more! Awwwww 2023 the year we get Lou bike packing!! Yeahhh?????!!!!! YES!!!!!
We know Katie loves the mountains. If you are able to make it back to the US, Colorado has a few annual mountainous rides worth considering. 1) The multi-day tour Ride the Rockies. Team Evergreen cycling hosts 2) Mt Evans Climb and the 3)Triple Bypass. There is also 4) Copper Triangle
Hmmm bike packing... we'll see xxxx
Katie: "...in better weather"
Also Katie in almost every video: "It's absolutely chucking it down, but look at it! It's soooo preeettyyyyy!!!" 🤣
I have followed Katie's channel for years and imagine my surprise back in January 2019 when I'm at the Barossa Valley during the Tour Down Under and who should I see but Katie!!!! She was soo nice and stopped for a chat and gave me a great big hug. Very down to earth, lovely human. 🙂
Together it was moy-dur! In the summer, go camping to some Brownie/Girl Guide/Scouts camp sites and show off your bikes to the kids (if they're there).
Yes! Katie, take Lou BIKEPACKING! It'd be an awesome adventure:-)
Safe travels home ladies and Rob, thanks for coming to the states and exploring the LA area on bikes. Next time please plan a trip to Southern AZ the weather is nice in the winter and there are so many beautiful roads and gravel rides you can take into the mountains. I’d love to ride with both of you someday, keep inspiring folks to ride bikes and have fun !!!
Two of the women who inspire me most with cycling! 💪🏼🥰
Yas!!!! Lou and Katie adventures please! 😊
I lived in SoCal for years and didn't even know about this place!? I'll have to check it out on my next visit.
Love to see biking packing trip with you two when Lou is bike fit again, or Mallorca trip as part of Lou's recovery.❤
Awesome energy
Love it when you 2 get together! Y'all so funny. Loved watching you guys riding through LA!
Incredible bit at the skatepark! I still do a little skateboarding, too, but not like that. I made my own boards back in the '70s, and still have them.
If it weren't winter, it would be wonderful to have you visit New Hampshire, and to meet you in person. I don't think you would enjoy riding here right now.
So excited to follow you guys along! Bikepacking trip is going to be so much fun.
If you two go bikepacking without inviting me I'm never talking to either of you ever again 😂
Hahaha don't worry, as soon as I can ride again I'd love to make some plans with you! xxx
This came up in my feed probably because I follow Katie and Francis and now it all comes together! about those three years ago I also followed Jess with the Internationelles adventures and indeed now the Everesting and night rides come back to mind. nice how everything is interconnected 👍🏼I hope your recovery is speedy and you get to ride again soon!
Well hello there! Thanks for the kind words xxx
I think Iceland would be really cool. It’s on my bucket list!
You have to do the cycle across Australia bike packing thing. West coast to east coast. Could even plan it around the TDU for a stopover to make an epic adventure of it.
That would be amazing. My birthday is Australia Day and I was there a few years ago for it, was so cool having the whole country celebrating with me haha
Like the others, I like the bikepacking idea for sure. Maybe big long epic journeys are on my brain for some reason. Bigger picture - anything that pushes both of you guys' comfort zone a little bit would be great. Thinking more practically - there's likely to be some significant rehab on your hip, so maybe something tailored toward augmenting that, or serving as a reward or milestone in your rehab?
Yes sounds like a sensible option. I've got my head around not racing this year but some fun adventures would be brilliant.
If your ever over in N. America again I would highly recommend the Whistler Grand Fondo, 122km x 1700m climb, the grand depart out of Stanley Park is a highlight as well as the scenic views of mountains and oceans
I was meant to ride that a couple of years ago, it was the route for the Gran Fondo World Championships in 2020. I'd qualified to race but it was cancelled due to COVID :(
Yes, you two need to plan a bikepacking trip, hopefully "roughing it" with tents, sleeping bags, camp stoves, etc.
Hmmm, I do love my luxuries tho.... haha
@@MyLouTube ... exactly why it will be so entertaining for the rest of us. Your misery could be a gold mine.
@@MyLouTube I mean, it'll be great fun
@@malcontent_1 I think that’s why Katie wants to take me bike packing 🤣
@@MyLouTube haha, clearly so, and this is what we call a _win-win-lose_ scenario.
Bikepack the Cohutta Wilderness in North Georgia.
@Katie, which bike case are you using that only needs the chain off your bike?
Katie and I both have Shokboxes. She takes the chain off as well as the derailleur, saddle and handlebars.
@@MyLouTube oh my that’s very complicated
#CrushingOnKatie 😜
Tempatnya keren itu di gunung apa
Everytime you say "...and this is my LouTube," it sounds like you're about to break out laughing at how bad that pun is.
It’s pretty terrible isn’t it. I’m really not used to this whole UA-cam thing at all yet. I find the whole thing massively outside of my comfort zone and hard to do, but I’m trying my best.
@@MyLouTube you're doing great!! I love that corny energy. Thank you for being brave and trying something new. 💪🙏👍
I used to think Majorca was the best riding anywhere (& I live in Calpe!) but Katie hasn’t cycled in the right part of LA. Malibu hills is the best riding in the world
Goofballs x 2
Begging the whole wide world for attention.
Well we got yours, so thank you x
It's funny how one meets other people... Since I travel so much by bike around nz i use social media to stay in touch with people and have meet a number of people though Instagram /Facebook : )
On a side note it's fun to see 2 of my favorite utube people on the same video : ) looking forward to seeing both of you in another video : )
Thank you for the kind words! xxx
❤
go big john o groats to lands end. scout it for me😉
Ah I've already done that! It was brilliant!
