Billions of dollars 💵💵💵 where did that money go ???
You know where it went.

Hey, wine isn't cheap you know. When he shut others in their house he was drinking up w/out a mask, if you remember.
Back to the taxpayers not bums
@@mariojrog9465 doesn’t go to the bums, San Francisco spent $80k per homeless person in a single year, they didn’t see a dime but the politicians’ friends did
It’s not even worth it to work anymore. I’m homeless in an old Toyota Sienna minivan in Los Angeles, after losing my housing twice during the pandemic, and couldn’t afford the sky rocketing rents. I work and I’m not a drug addict.
Honest question before election talk was it easier to live as a homeless person before the clean ups
And are they being intentionally hostile to homeless now?
good thing you have a van I lived in a station wagon for a few years best times of my life wishing you the best man. to rent a 1 bedroom shack nowadays will run you about 2,600 a month you would just be working to pay rent. I would take a shower with a 1 gallon milk jug with a pair of swim shorts on and wash my dry rite cloths in a bathroom sink they dry in about 2 hours. I enjoyed the lifestyle if I was not a old man I would be doing it right now. all my money goes to rent and food and I just struggle to survive.👍
Get out of Cali and go to a better area.
14 years ago I was homeless in Fla, but I worked, and found a great side hustle buying and selling things on craigslist.
Saved 160K in 2 years, bought a 100K house (that is now worth 250), and started a small buisness that is still jamin in the lithium ion battery biz.
Use your position to get ahead.
Cali has really become a place for people with high paying stable jobs, and The further you get away from high pay or stability, the more you should consider living in another state. If you're barely scraping by in California, you might actually be able to get somewhere... almost anywhere else.
Then why stay in Los Angeles?
It’s clear that the mayor wants to pocket that money because there’s too many people in San Jose that are homeless. It’s insane.
This is his problem. Not anyone else's. 💯👍
We are supposed to be in Service to others, which is the reason we are blessed with material possessions in the 1st place, with that being said, you could have kept that comment to yourself
@@alishatate7940 No. Freedom of speech deal with it!🤡
@@alishatate7940 Alligator tears. Join the priesthood if you feel so deeply. But no. You want police with guns to take other people's possessions give them to government which uses most of the money for their own jobs/benefits/retirement.

rush? you san jose mayors.....had 30-40 years to figure out the homelessness issue... Newsom is right, the time is over...fixed this crap. We pay billions in state income tax dollars to solve this issue for the past decades
All got stolen by "foundations "
Obviously the billions in funding didn't work... where did it go?
Now that greasy has no path to the Presidency, he is starting to behave like a governor. Thanks
So California waited until SCOTUS made the ruling that homeless is a crime? What did you do with the billions of dollars then? A billion dollars would create a beautiful KOA campground for them with showers and bathrooms.
President Roosevelt did that during the depression and it worked great, watch The Grapes Of Wrath
He didn't "wait". Before the ruling, every time an attempt was made to move the homeless, Homeless Rights advocates would sue the city. The Supreme Court ruling finally stopped that.
@@saintking64 So you are saying he waited for the SCOTUS ruling then.
@@KrisLaplerCan you read? Prior to the Supreme Court ruling cities couldn’t clear out homeless camps. Lower courts prohibited it. Now there is a LEGAL way
to proceed.
@@theskyehiker Yes, they waited LMFAO
People have been waiting on section 8 housing for Decades.
The money is there, they don't want to spend it!!!
It cost $$ to keep ppl in jail. So ironic to free criminals from overcrowded facilities, then fill them back up with the homeless. Where they can recieve food, medical treatment and shelter. So California of them.
Hey Governor, I like the fire of motivation to clear the homeless encampment after spending billions of dollars with no results. By the way, you still are doing a shitty job cause California is unaffordable as well.
He allowed these encampments for 7 years under his rule.
He is to blame for the homelessness crisis.
Absolutely
@@joy-boblindskog6798 Both wrong. Prior to the ruling, the City kept being sued for trying to relocate/remove homeless and encampments. Read more please.

To Newsom: You want to see results, build affordable housing and allow people to work despite their living conditions. You just can't force counties to do anything and deny counties funding when the Homeless don't have options that aren't crowded, they do have proper programs to be housed, or feel unsafe. Think and do something on your end before you declare a personal war on the Homeless.
He created them
Sure. Homeless people never existed in history prior to now. 🙄
Let them all live in the Pelosi mansion. It has many extra bedrooms.
You are the governor.
What is your solution ?

DIDN'T GET THE VP JOB
They are not unhoused. They are called homeless and bums
We need investment into housing. This is a disaster!!!
GAVIN NEEDS SOME MORE HAIR JEL 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂It's "Don" Newsom!
The problem is that cities have not used the money that they have been given to create affordable housing. Newsom needs to clarify the message. Stop blaming the homeless this problem. The problem has to do with our elected representatives keeping the money that has been given to them instead of spending it on the development of long term housing solutions for people who do not have access to financial resources.
What a flip flopper
“People have to have a place to go” or take the funding from the city.
Can we have the same thing for job?
“People have to have a job to work”? Or take the profit from the company ?
Screw you, Gavin! You sweep your problems under a rug. Don't pin that crap on us!!
Non Profits need homeless and crime to make money . Lol
Mahan needs to shut up...his platform before he got elected as mayor was to solve the Homeless issue...
Newsom usually cries foul at every Supreme Court ruling. How come all of the sudden he embraces this ruling? So the Supreme Court rulings are like fruit salad plate and he only picks his favorite? What a clown 🤡!

Hate crime. Cause those who defy orders are cowards. This is a direct order and knowing this they know they will be faced with confrontation. They decide the easy way out. Picked the wrong side to fight on. Do not fund cowards.
Matt is right. WIthout solutions in place we're just shuffling the problem from one place to the next. The heart of the issue is people need job training and temporary housing. Once they get a job they can rent an apartment themselves and be independent.
That is correct, in theory. But if a person has a minimum wage job, they won’t be able to rent even a studio apartment in most urban areas in California.

I understand why you can't have homeless camps in front of businesses and homes etc in the city, but they even chase people away when they are out in the sticks! They have to live somewhere for Gods sake! I say if they aren't bothering anyone in the wilderness, then leave them alone! Really, all those massive tax dollars could be used to create campgrounds with bathrooms and showers etc for them.
I live in Santa Cruz and we have fires set very often from people living in our mountains. Not to mention the tons of trash they leave wherever they “camp.”
Send them to San Jose!!!!!!!
You mean LA
Already 10k homeless in downtown San Jose alone. Homeless fires break out every week. Crime is rampant.

It will force action to provide widespread affordable housing for the masses of people who are "economic refugees"!
