For the average person, the blade is the only thing that's important, so this is actually a great idea! And it's not like the FRN handles are bad. They aren't fancy, but they are contoured and the FRN is backed up with steel liners. This might be the very best value for an everyday user currently on the market!
@@michaelfuxeklint4909on artisan website . 🇬🇧 they go from £120 to £160 for the s90v pyrite and the pyrite lite is £60. So it’s still a budget knife with a super steel it’s a win in my book .
They have a large version of the pyrite light under coming soon, I'm hoping they do a large and mini of this one. Really I hope they do a lot of these frn models, this is what I would consider real budget territory.
If they give this the new, S90v treatment, that they just announced for the Pyrite lite, that will literally be a Bugout killer if they keep it at $79.99.
Cjrb knives are fantastic for the money!!!! I have the feldspar, prado, and pyrite light....liner lock, crossbar lock and button lock....all are excellent
It's a good time for budget buyers. All my Artisan and CJRB are good knives. Got my Fenrir and Blue Lightning Microburst in the pocket with the AriesEDC Blue Lightning Bloom Poon on the belt.
I really appreciate how you brought out the whole CJRB crossbar lock family for this review. Great to be able to compare them all in one spot. Keep up the great work!! 💪 💪
The Hectare & Bowie pyrite with brown micarta scales and CJRB's new steel is what im interested in. Also they are finally making the large pyrite with hole deployment wharncliffe blade
Love all these cjrb knives but man the Ar rpm9 I don't care for. Its alright, I guess, but at that price, give me 14c or Nitro V. Atleast with those, I can get a whittling hair edge every time.

Did you see they just dropped an S90V version of the Pyrite Light?! Only $80 for a top tier EDC knife with premium blade steel 🤘😎🤘

its awesome, its a page from spydercos book
Here in Europe they go for 200 box with titanium handle ☹️☹️
I’d jump all over it if it had micarta scales with accented G-10 liners and a backspacer.

id love to see every pocket knife come with a full length or close to full length back spacer. that would be wonderful...
Shid youll fit right in
9:30 a large version would be awesome! It would be even cooler if they did a metal handle version
agreed no doubt

@JoshuaYearry I think that they will if there's enough interest. When you see them post on IG or whatever tell them in comments

My Kershaw Leek is back in my pocket
Very nice brother 💯

very nice brother!
I got one in and the action on mine is complete garbage. The pyrite lite is way better!
very nice brother!
It's strange that the new Pyrite don't look like the old ones. Okah, there is the warncliff blade, the bowie and the drop point ones.
I only really like the warncliffe.
I think the SRM Rubik for $29 in 14c and G10 beats this out
very nice brother!

I'm hoping they move Rpm9 to 30-50 and go to 14c at 50+ do models in both. They'll both sell too. 14c is the goat. Rpm9 is good, but not 14c good
RPM9 isn’t my favorite either.
