you just rated this the same as fivio foreigns album?! Bro this is at least a 9/10. IMO its a 10/10. Every Pusha T verse is a lyrical masterclass . He literally doesn't take a bar off. And then the production is the best of Pharrel and Kanye. Its a 10/10. Stop acting like you have some ability to critique music better than Pusha T, Kanye and Pharrel putting their best effort forward. 10/10.
The mixing in some areas is really really bad though. Kanye’s verse on track 3, for example, it’s so plastered over it isn’t mixed into the instrumental at all. It sounds like he recorded it on those Apple earbuds microphone and then it was just slapped over the instrumental with no mixing. I really loved that song but Kanye’s verse ruined it. I loved what Ye was saying too it’s so unfortunate man.

@@vicfleming1814 I think reasonable doubt is the default answer because of nostalgia but 4:44 peeled back a more vulnerable and personal layer of his life and resonated with the culture more so than Reasonable Doubt… with him opening up about his mother to expressing his thoughts on financial literacy and equity, I think it was just more well rounded overall… but I love both albums and think they’re both classics
I really enjoyed this album. You can really what songs were produced by Pharrell. Just gotta pay attention to the hi hats, snares, rimshots but anyway Ye Pharrell and Pusha did good
Unfortunately a Ye verse is part of the Ye production just like a Pharrell hook is a part of a Pharrell production, gotta take what you can get and just deliver , Pusha is King for that. He drowns them out so it doesn’t matter either way!

Daytona and It's Almost Dry are less different then they are alike. Might have to sit with it, but aside from a few tracks, it doesn't hit like Daytona.

I can not listen to Smokers Shine Coupes without doing that dance buddy in the drivers seat was doing! LOL 2. Just because an album is not a 10/10 doesn't mean its not a classic. Case in point The Black Album. Nobody like Justify Thug, but its still rated a classic. 3. You know an album is hitting all the marks, when you start finding a new favorite song every few listens.
This is straight fire, might be my AOTY so far, not sure after one listen. Regardless this thing is incredibly well produced, and even the beats I’m not as crazy about, Push’s vocals make up for it. Enjoyed every song, favorites after first listen are Dreamin Of The Past, Diet Coke, and I Pray For You
