Very beautiful. I grew up listening to Dan Hill's version, so I'm used to this song in an almost aggressively powerful form. I would have never thought of it in a softer, touching form, but I found this one and Olivia Ong's version, and both are simply beautiful.

I will never understand why when people hear a new rendition of a song they expect to hear the original. I loved the way Susan gave this song the female touch. I would never expect her to sing it like the original. I had to check it out because I could not remember hearing it. I then became aware of why. The original is one of the songs that I personally hear 1 to five times and change the radio station when it comes on again. With all respect to those who like the original I don't care for singers who sound like they have just gone through 2 packs of cigarettes and a half bottle of whiskey. Everyone should enjoy the version they prefer.

@@jeremywck8757 .... You have the possibility to not only read what I wrote, but also to take the time to understand it. My comment was inspired by a few people here that made half derogatory remarks about Susans performance. Now please don't ask me which ones they were after 4 years have passed. Rod Stewart (not steward) has performed songs that I like and one of my all time favorites is "You are so Beautiful" from Joe Cocker (doesn't get more cigarette, Whiskey, drug voiced than that) or Bonnie Tyler "Makaing Love Out Of Nothing At All" as example. Maybe I should have choosen my words after a long night a bit more exact for those who may have a problem with the opinion of someone else. Just the same I did not say such voices can not be appreciated.... just in my case only individually according to song and performer. At any rate as far as this song is concerned Susans rendition trumphs the original any day for me. However once again I will out myself with ...just imagine since my childhood days I prefer female singers over male. Now please don't ask me if that means men are not worthy of appreciation.... they surely are..at least by woman. Have a good day.
