My wife and I just returned from this tour. It's a MUST! This was not a vacation or destination. This was a spiritual journey.
proud to be African..Love from Kenya ..we love Ghana
i love kenyans. a ghanaian with a kenyan beaty in germany. amazing people and culture. i will be visiting when funds are gathered
Kwame Nkrumah is the ahead of his time . When he called for the creation of African military command , a lot of African leaders don’t understand him. Kwame Nkrumah say I quote the independence of Ghana is meaningless unless it’s link with the total liberation of African continent. He is the first to invite our brothers African Americans to come home and Dr Dubois the first African American to graduate from Havard university decided to come home for good and was buried in Accra. He is pan Africanist and his aim is to unite Africa
As a Jamaican , raised in DC, MD, VA. DMV areas, I've learned a lot about Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, and I can't wait to be there . Thank you so Jay Camerom
You’ll definitely love it. That’s my home but I stay in ohio . I visit every year and every visitor I meet loves Ghana. Ghana will leave its prints in your memory forever
Come December
Thanks y'all!
Ghana 🇬🇭 is home 🏡
@blaqLion come to ghana whenever you can. The environment is relatively similar to Jamica, so you will feel right at home
Where ever you from and no matter who you are, as long as you are a Black Man/Woman: you are an AFRICAN...💪💪..welcome to the homeland..🤜
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️ we are coming home from the four corners of the globe🇯🇲
I started crying, when the brother busted out crying. Our ppl really need a healing from the yolk of our oppressors
And to imagine how many cried like that on that same spot. Broke me down
God bless our homeland Ghana 🇬🇭
Tears are flowing 😢my brother made me cry 😭 tonight
That brother who appeared at the beginning of the video spoke the few short phrases in Twi very well; warms the heart, hearing how well he has taken to the language. Emo na Ayeh = Well done!
Gets so emotional for me being of Ghanaian origin & seeing African-Americans re-connect to the sub-continent for the first time. Jay is clearly on a mission … Excellent curating of the entire experience & great video recording. Emo na Ayeh to You Too!
I am a Ghanaian but when that man cried I also cried so much my kids taught something had happened to. Watching from uk
Let stop calling the Africa Americans they are all Africans..it breaks my heart when I hear people call them that name..every black person is African
Dr Kwame Nkroma was a man we loved o ho we loved him
I don't even have words to describe this video. It was a college level unadulterated education and spiritually uplifting as well.
That was a tremendous experience. Thank you @Jay Cameron & @African Ancestry. Im very proud to have Akan heritage. Much love to my Maximum Impact Travel experience family. I love Africa. To all Ghanaians out there...... Medɔ Ghana! 🇬🇭 mɛsan aba bio Medaase paa Nyame nkawohu 🙏🏾

You are welcome ❤
Good luck👏🏿😍
i cried when the gentleman cried at Assin manso
So emotional😭
I visited the museum in 2010. They have really expand it. It’s bigger and better and beautiful. Will be there in November and will certainly visit it again.👍🏾✌🏾🇯🇲🇬🇭😊
Powerful monument . Ghana is growing Intellectually. Thank you Jay Cameron for what you are doing for the Motherland . Ashey
*Ashe!!!
Ghana is growing intellectually? What does that even mean?
Yeah what does that mean? Shallow moderate thinking
So it was unintellectual before? Stay in America because the brainwashing is deep with you.
Your comment is intellectually bankrupt because the Kwame Nkrumah center is only representing an overview of what ACTUALLY happened OVER 60 YEARS AGO!
Wow, the gentleman who broke down really got me. Good he had to let it out and let it go. Great presentation, very eventful. Africa is still under siege. France remains a real terror in Africa in cahoots with Western allies et al.
Me too, I couldn't hold my tears seeing him breakdown like that!
Ditto😢
Exactly, he brought tears to my eyes.
😂😂😂wonderful, this Brother is very good with languages look for a short time visit in Ghana,,he speaks already fantastic ❤❤
This is bombastic. Welcome to The Motherland.
God Bless Our Homeland Ghana 🇬🇭
We actually learnt these stories in school, when we were in JHS. Who remembers Social studies in scope book? “African slave trade”.
Jay will always make you feel at home. Great job, Jay.

Ghana 🇬🇭 welcomes you with love and peace, feel free at home when you get there, I'm sure you will enjoy it 🎉❤😅😊
Great.
Go home sis and let your spirit feel welcome. Let me welcome you in advance by saying welcome in the Ewe language "Woezor"
Avoid doing any gestures with your left hand in public. Considered uncouth. Also add "yes, please" and no, please to your vocabulary.😁
And don't lose your guard, there wolf's in goat skin trying to destroy our good reputation for selfishness and greed
Beautiful African! Sweet people, Ghana is the place to live may God bless our country! We invite everyone to come to Ghana 🇬🇭

Their is a challenge and changes that are occurring in our motherland .The masses are tired of its neo colonial leadership that are puppets of various colonizers. Let's keep the watch and support of our motherland best to our abilities.

I'm so excited and thankful, you have explained our tradition of respect ,we are raised to respect others, by saying please to people .All over the world and around the continent. people know Ghana is very respectful Country. Others try to take advantage of that ,But you didn't,Thank you. Being humble ,that doesn't mean we are fools.
We as locals make fun of the fanti"s for even rendering respect when they insult you, " mi pawtso wu ye aboa" lol

I have said to myself that maybe i would not be able to visit The Slave House in Ghana , because if i do , i would not be able to survive it because of the anger and at the same time the sorrow and the sadness i will be feeling. At the back of my mind, i will be feeling as if i was there myself been treated like what the whitees did to my Brothers and Sisters 4--500 years ago.
It was so cruel and inhuman that a fellow Human being can treat a fellow Human Being in such a manner , is just not comprehensible..
Am a west African, from The Smiling Coast of West Africa . Borne and Raised. Thanks.
Very powerful....
WELCOME BRO TO OUR MOTHERLAND 👋
Ooo good 👍
The spies are among you.
😂
There is no better place like home mama alkebluna
Greetings
If Ghanaian is serious about promoting cultural tourism they should consider tackling sanitation issues, dusty, unsanitary conditions, bumpy, poor roads, lack of proper hygiene conditions. Lack of adequate healthcare and sub standard education systems. Most Ghanaians are not aware of their history because it’s not part of the curriculum these days. Besides Ghana hasn’t done much to enhance the lives of the citizens. Applaud Jay for his efforts in connecting the diaspora to the continent and Ghana for that experience.
Not defending Ghana but America has dusty , unsanitary conditions, bumpy, poor roads, lack of proper Hygiene conditions and all that you accused Ghana of. The United States is not at all perfect. Infact, it's very horrible in some places in California and Michigan. To end it all, i would say, the state of New York is the capital city of rats in the whole wide world.
Jay make me cry😢
Yes! Ba-Cedar tree!
A so wi call it ah Yard🇯🇲
Jay can I please get the title or links to soundtracks at the start and end of the video. I will really appreciate it🙏
