Sometimes people forget to say that they are proud of another person which is a shame, so I got a bit choked up when you were saying that you were so proud of Derek. I wish more people would bless others with kind words instead of the negativity everywhere.

When faced with a mass of silverware while at an event, start from the outside pieces and work your way in toward your plate. You may find pieces placed above your plate, too. I think these are for desert and coffee but can't remember. I was taught all these things as a child because my single Dad was a Chef at one of Washington, D.C's most luxurious hotels in its day. Since he had FIVE of us to feed, clothe and put through Catholic School, we were as poor as church mice but we knew perfect table etiquette and setting. I think you are just precious and I LOVE your family. Jonah seems a little shy but only sometimes. You are a joy and I thank you.

Caustic Soda is the best thing to sort the shower drain! It destroys ANYTHING that is in your drain. Saves calling a plumber out. That is all they will use! X

Awww!!!! I hate broken jewelry my kids broke LOTS of mine as wee ones. i popped every piece into glass baby jars and almost 2 years ago i started to put them back together, suprise suprise my very manly hubby used to make jewelry on the side ( he was also paper boy n lawn mower a lil entrepreneur) he taught me how to finish the designs i started and it became a passion of mine making bracelets earrings and necklaces. that hobby has helped me define my own personal interests outside of mommyhood for awile i didnt even have the luxury of QUIET potty time for myself, my kids would do dangerous things behind my back lol. hobbies r a sanity saver once the wee ones are old enuf to not injur themselves every 5 minutes

we use Drain-o in our shower once a month (5 girls with long hair) let it sit in the drain overnight or as long as possible without running water in it. works great between snaking it out!

We received our sausage Monday night and it was delicious. I was hesitant to order the bacon because it didn't say thin or think , so I will be putting it on my list. Both of you have such a great marriage

I do and don't miss those types of dinners. when my guy and I first started dating he took me to a few charity events he designed for and it was so daunting. I'm so glad we were taught proper etiquette in home ec. I much prefer the laid back events like our brewers brawl even though I don't drink at all.

I've started getting meat from zaycon because of you. I've gotten their hamburger meat, chicken breasts, chicken thieghs, I love it. Havent done the bacon, sausage or tenderloin yet but ready to order when I get back from disneyland this october.
