- Welcome aboard the Disney Fantasy Day 6! Today was such a fun day, from Halloween Drawings, to Spider Cake and a special filming of a Disney commercial onboard! We also had the opportunity to try Enchanted Garden fro Breakfast, meet Thor and who could forget about Jack Jack's Incredible Diaper Dash!!

It took us 3 Disney cruise to learn how to manage it all and have a relaxing time. But once you learn the ropes it's very very magical.
Part of the "this cruise is flying by" you are experiencing is partly because at this point, you have already been on several cruises and while each cruise will have new and exciting experiences, for the most part they are similar to ones you have already done. It is just like anything; the first time you do something is almost always going to be the "best" because it is new and you do not have memories or expectations from past times. That being said each time you get to do this it is truly magical and especially the time you get to spend with family. Thank you so much for taking us all along and sharing the magic thru your lens.
Your sleeping in is like 8am LOL! WOW I’m definitely doing that Enchanted Gardens breakfast cause Cabanas can get busy.

I'd love to see the Cooking with Michael segment come back - recreating the spider cake
The definition of special is "otherwise different from what is usual". Speaking to the food comments, the food is "just OK" because it is no longer special to you. Living in Disney your standard is Disney food because you are there daily. That is what makes Disney so, so special to people- it is a break from their reality. For the average person, myself included, the cruise is a rare opportunity to try new things. I believe your move to Florida has changed the dynamic.
The food at Disney workd isn’t that great, I live in a good food town. So I don’t really do disney for the food.
I feel the same way but think it’s only human nature that when you are looking forward to something for months or even years you are more inclined to find it magical/special than experiences you have access to everyday.

I go on the DCL every few years and have to say food quality is not what it used to be. Many Disbey Facebook forums people say the same thing.

meeting goofy and max was great they are not easy to find. I absolutely love the diaper dash.❤ Its one of my favorite things on the cruise. So fun 😂. The spider dessert looks delish and how cool was it that disney asked you to be in their filming! So cool. 😎 amazing. A + on your drawings. Not bad. I cant wait for castaway cay tomorrow..

Which cruise do u prefer, the halloween or the christmas time cruise? They both look amazingly fun.
Been on many Disney cruises and others...when you eat at the rotational restaurants you are going to get plates that have been sitting for awhile. Rarely is the food as good as Palo/Remy where it is made to order.
So excited for the commerical! HHm wonder if its for the figment attraction at EPCOT?

@19:32 at the table in the background there is a guy in shorts and a backwards ballcap ? This in the MDR and he is dressing like he is at a beach bar. So you can wear anything to MDR on Disney including wearing ball caps ?

A comment someone wrote on one of your earlier vlogs this week has stuck with me. That person said your expectations were too high which is why you seem to be constantly disappointment with the food on this trip. I think the more days I watch and the more you say the food is "just ok" I am beginning to agree with the person who made that comment. It's cruise food 🤷🏽♀️.

Its generally less than a cup of coffee the same size, they do have decaf hot teas also, so maybe he opted for that? And there is also trace amount of caffeine in hot chocolate also, but very little. Coffee 95 mg, tar 29 mg, hot chocolate 5mg as example

Will you do a Review Vlog on the Cruise? I'd like to know if you spoke to anyone about the Food?
I’ve given up soda for about a year now. I get it very rarely now because some places only serve soda or water and sometimes I just want more than plain water with my food. I have found when I do drink the soda I tend to get a migraine depending on the brand, Coke tends to aggravate it more often, and find that US made sodas make my mouth tingle in a bad way that international sodas don’t since I feel perfectly fine after drinking English, French and even Japanese sodas.
I don’t think this is a caffeine thing though since I drink tea a lot.
I would say food contributes a good 40% of the overall experience of a cruise.
Seems like this ship has really dropped the ball in that regard or you have become more "selective" because you cruise so often.
I miss the cruise
I don' know if you knew this.. but you can call room service at night and order tea service. they'll bring you a carafe of hot water and teabags... the water will remain piping hot until early afternoon the next day. When you wake up you'll already have your tea right there, no getting up to walk to the drink station...
They're probably shooting video for this years "Decorating Disney" they include footage from Disney world, Disney land and Disney cruises.
