@nagosawrus Don't make me laugh! Kids were using performance enhancing drug at my high school and all those around us when we were going to school in the mid 70s. You sound like a buffoon 🤟😅
Kids are running too damn fast these days! That's absolutely ridiculous for a tempo run at altitude. Hopefully they all run D1 in college and keep getting faster too.
Thanks for sharing some of the kids’ training. Congratulations to the team on their incredible success! I really respect their attitude, discipline, and work ethic.
Lmfao then you have my program that is extremely new and we do our 2 mile workouts at 7:30 pace. These kids are absolutely insane. Just hope they dont hit their peaks too soon. I'm planning on running after high school and becoming a decentely respected marathoner and taking control

More mileage and more variety of workouts, while staying consistent with workout times or lowering them a little bit while doing longer workouts (for longer races in college), with slow pace on recovery days. Maybe some strength training if they aren’t already doing that
I hope these kids have proper guidance and all receive an education before turning Pro. I would hate to see anyone of them turn into a Mary Cain disaster.

I've been watching HS cross country for about 40 years. I've never seen this much talent on one team in cross country..........EVER. Wow!
I’m at 30 years and completely agree with you. Not just these kids but HS runners I. General nowadays are very very good.
I'm assuming families move into this area to get their kids with this team. This is a very good college team! Incredible.
It's obvious they're using performance enhancing drugs! Plus professional coaching. Just a bunch of rich kids😁

9:23 honestly in a 5k Newbury could probably still beat those horses
i did cross country in high school in hawaii and my best three mile time was like 18 minutes. ROFL this generation is nuts.
They should definitely run that 5k At Desert twilight since it’s at night and a really flat course

Proud of my hometown team!
Great coaching
Dang they’re in some good shape
Certainly quite the opportunity to have the access snd ability to do this type of training but what a great culture
If I try to do this I would die of a heart attack and a stress fracture

Zaki Blunt's 2-mile time sucks, 10:37!? He cranks out a 4:28 mile & slows down that much? Ridiculous 😁
Nobody cares quit yapping

idk people on my team are that fast and one of our guys weights 160
it's not ab weight, it's about how fast you are, but weight is definitely a massive factor, most of us weight 140 and under
OK this video answered my question. They ARE doing elevation training. Their success makes more sense now.
5:45 lol might break some records
Zaki reminds me so much of Joseph from King of the Hill lol
Good vid 😎
How to get a physique like these please? Any tips?
Goddamn Newbury park
Boys are fit
I would try the work out that Sam did not the one done by the boys.
where can i buy rope like yours for stretching? i've been looking and can't find any
you can just use a towel and it does the same thing, I use an old karate belt lol

anyone know where to get aarons shorts at 4:18?
Probably from BOA
Dang😳

This is a tempo run. Not a race. Of course they aren't going full speed
