I do want children someday but that's literally one of my only setbacks. Like yes I can deal with broken sleep nights, the food messes, the tantrums, all that. But dang I want them to have clubs and sports and all that to enjoy, but I really don't want to have to take them to those things all the time or have to watch it.

I'm here in michigan and my family bought me this magnetic thing that slaps up on the windshield you just gotta grab one corner and it pops all the snow off. Only thing is ya got to remember to put it on before it snows 24inchez in 12 hours lol 😅

I’ve never seen the “I can’t slow down Earl” video before and I have to say that I laughed so hard I had to pause the video cause my eyes were tearing, I snorted super loud and pissed my pants a little bit.

As a Northern US, I can’t imagine life without snow ❄️. Maybe Canada will just absorb Washington state.
New England here - Snow is like Tribbles, it just follows you around and multiples like when the same lump of snow has been sitting in the car for a few days. Or when snow tracks into the entryway and you step on it in a sock foot, perhaps as snow or perhaps as a puddle, but either way knowing your foot is not going to be wet. Also multiplying are single mittens and loose tissues which are probably clean but you are never totally sure. (And stopping on skis or skates is something you can at least learn; it’s the stopping on boots which is the problem … though it is nice to hear an Australian think something very run of the mill for us sounds frightening for her. Thank you, I feel brave. 😉)

@@RuuJyu-x8n i work in the medical field and the HORROR stories i've heard! Just knowing that tearing of the vagina is something that can happen (more often than it should i think) while giving birth is reason enough for not wanting to be pregnant, ever.

Btw for context the girl makin sounds after the objects makin sounds is deaf and her sister records her while she tries to guess how the objects sound. i believe she was born deaf and they have a lot of fun and the sisters relationship is very heartwarming and super funny.

The one on the train it wasn't that she thought she was too cool for him. She thought she was holding a support rail on the train that you are supposed to hold onto for support and he was being a dick trying to make her move because he didnt want to share the support pole then was mortified when he pointed out she was holding on to his mop/broom stick.

Read an entire paperback novel while at uni and only had one chapter left. The writing and story were fantastic, but the main character's first name was so weird it distracted me all the way through the book. Finally watched a TV program one evening and heard a familiar name that I realized, I had never seen written before, Penelope. (Pen--nell-luh-pee). I had read it as Pen-nuh-lope from the beginning, destroying my overall enjoyment of the murder, mystery crime story. As I read the last chapter, I couldn't enjoy it either, because each time the name popped up, I had to LOL at my own stupidity! 😅
Lol, I used to think it was pronounced that way too! Found out the correct pronunciation when I had to read from a book in front of the class one day in high school.
I had the same problem with the word "awry". I had always read it as "aww ree" and it took me YEARS to realise that "a rye" wasn't a different word lol

About mispronouncing words, I was so burnt out from my GCSE exams that during a science lesson I read the whiteboard and read out loud engagement as En-gag-e-ment. The person next to me was like 🤷♂️ what? So I pointed to the white board and he said that’s engagement not en-gag-e-ment. We both started laughing.

I love you Toni!!! Snowboarding and skiing are kinda scary, but slowing down isn't too hard. For snowboards it's leaning back and shifting weight to one side so you cut horizontal and stop. Skiing is the "pizza slice" where you bring your toes together at and inward angle making your skis look like a slice of pizza. Maybe someday you will get to try and like it!
