She is a TRUE prodigy, as that term can be overused. When I first saw her on FB I figured she's been playing since the age of four or something. NOT! She has only been playing about 3-4 years! She takes some advanced lessons by renowned bassists such as Stanley Clarke, Victor Wooten, and Marcus Miller. Next time please have her show you some of her drawings/art!! ❤

I've been following Ellen for a couple of years now. She's quite talented, and blessed with a very talented and loving father, Hovak, to help her develop that talent. She's got such a bright future!

This young woman has been playing on UA-cam so long I thought she was grown up and playing session work in studios...

Woah! Get her in touch with Geddy Lee please. If he is available I would hasten to bet he would do a little Zoom meet or something with her. She is already ready to meet the undisputed virtuoso of bass. You may try going through Alex Lifeson who is easier to get in touch with and generous with his time. Plus Geddy and Alex are rather kind-hearted.

    Ellen has skills.❤
    HUGE PROBLEM for Ellen.
She should already be releasing music with a band.
Ellen should be doing interviews with the band, not alone.
Bassist Alejandra Villarreal Vélez released her first EP at 10 years old with a band in 2015. (Not covers)
Ellen is so talented. She needs a band.

Ale Villarreal is a fair comparison - both astonishingly talented and skilled at remarkably young ages. Given Ellen's skill level it probably is about time to release some original music, and she has the support of a musician father. A band is trickier though. Ale started The Warning with her two older sisters who are also generational talents, while Ellen would have to hunt for people who could play at anything like her level.
Another fair comparison might be the brilliant young guitarist Jake Collison in the UK, who is her age and an epic talent like her. He has no band, but he just released his first original song. Now, if you could get the two of them together...

It's definitely a challenge for sure to find band members. Even searching for the last couple of years might not have turned up anything.
The Twins in Spain 🇪🇸, i think. New Twins on the Rock found a guitarist to play with.

@@americanswan That's good news! They've been looking a while. They're another good comparison, just a little older than Ellen, and got their EP out late last year.
