Man that actually worked for me ...i have installed redux v3 and still looked yellowish...and that blur was at times annoying...installing redux v3 removes many things from the registry, so the blur settings was in one of the scripts from redux v3...now is all so clear...Thank you

Just set visual treatment to low. This gives colorful graphics... I do not like the settings which are described in this video bcz it gives kinda evening like graphics which I don't like
Yah it comes down to personal preference. I think these settings make the game look better, but some players may prefer the more "cinematic" appearance instead

You're welcome; I'm glad it helped! Personally I've found the game to run fine; no major issues on my end. As for resolutions, those were tthe standard options it came with. I tried various different ones, and didn't find that there was any major differences between them. The biggest thing imo was getting rid of that motion blur and that yellowish tint. Compare this to my earliest NFS videos, and you'll see how big of an improvement this is.
There is an easier way to turn it off Motion blur. But I have Visual Treatment almost always turned off, unless I change the color quality then the last option must be turned on :)
Yah I've heard there are other options, but some of them also have the ability to corrupt or damage your game files. This is a safe, and also fairly easy, way of doing it. I just wish I had known about this sooner as you'll notice that some of my older NFS videos still have that "original / before" look to them.

Why the hell wouldn't they include an option to disable the blur right in the settings menu? I mean, they made it possible to turn it off, so why wouldn't they give people an easy to do it? If you want to argue that the registry option was only there for the developers, that means that the developers wanted a way to turn it off, which should have told them that players would want to turn it off as well. Honestly, I hate the motion blur even more than the yellow filter.

You know what? I have this glitch IN-GAME where after i beaten izzy suddenly all I MEAN ALL just unlocked for performance,parts and visuals have you all got this? (Also i have another user that finished the game)
It should be available under "advanced settings". And, your gameplay should look like this after following these steps. The only other factor that might make a difference could be each individual's PC performance.

After you apply these changes, I recommend starting the game in administrator mode. Also, it is good to have a backup of your original game files just in case anything goes wrong; that way you still have the standard working version.

If you download mods you want to keep the original game files so that you can switch back to those if you get issues; that's what I did when mods were causing me issues.
1600x1200 is a default option under Advanced settings. I haven't found it to actually look much better than any other resolution.. so 1280 is just as good imo.

There are shaders and things you can download to "improve" the game visuals, but personally I'm ok with how it looks after the changes I made in this video. Just be sure to save an original copy of the game if you're gonna download any mods or shaders just in case..

Strider, i got nfs mw but the problem is it is not full screen, I improved the details and resolution but still it is not full screen
I'd check online for something like a "widescreen fix"; apparently that has helped others with issues like this..

VSYNC enabled on a game from 2005 on a 2022 PC will make you 500fps to handle for your screen that is at 144Hz/360Hz is not a good option ;-)

i donwloaded a new grapics pack mod and wifescreen fix now my shift and control button not working do u know which file i must change

How did you do to get the 1600x1200 resolution? I only have until 1280x1024
1600x1200 is a default option under Advanced settings. I haven't found it to actually look much better than any other resolution.. so 1280 is just as good imo.
you can only force it using widescreen fix' configuration file, in my case i had to do that.

So there are a few in-game resolutions to choose from. Apart from that, I think you need to get a wide screen patch if I'm not mistaken..

if u have a 768p screen then it will only run at 768p
the game's resolution will run at ur computer's screen
u need to make custom res 1600 x 1200, by nVidia or CRU

It does work to run it normally too, but yah after these changes it is best to run it in administrator mode
