Sir, thank you so much for all your teachings, I came across your teachings this year and I have been studying intently. This is a great encounter for me sir
Pst. Ayo Ajani I have some questions; can encounters be lost? When you receive an encounter what do you do with them? Are encounters to be maintained so that they can achieve what they are supposed to in a person's life? Is there a kind of lifestyle to live so that you do not loose the purpose which an encounter is to serve in your life? Thank you very much sir.
Spiritual things are slippery. It’s very possible to loose the value and virtue that an encounter brings. When the patriarchs had encounters with God they built altars so they could readily remember and keep them at the fore of their minds.
@@solomonmatthew8983YES and NO. 1st it's important we understand that although God transcends time; His agenda on earth is not random but in times and seasons (Ecclesiastes tell us there is timings to everything). The sons of Issachar are known to not only be able to tell the times but most importantly what Israel ought to do. A particular action in a Kairos moment will yield 100 fold than the particular action in a chronos moment. For example, when Jacob dreamnt of the staircase,he failed to fully utilize the Kairos moment and admits not knowing that God's presence was there. Bethel was a significant place for God's agenda. Jacob had to wait decades working for Laban, however the next time he had an encounter he held onto it and actively fought the whole night. Notice the previous encounter that he missed angels were already on ground (ascending and descending)The later one at Peniel he had to fight and even broke his hip. When we "misuse an encounter we might have to wait several seasons before the conditions again align to enable us redeem the encounter. Alot will have changed and it might require more effort than previously. NO-at times a missed encounter can't be redeemed, especially now that the times are short. An encounter might be to birth a particular move of God that is scheduled for a specific Kairos moment and missing it will delay God's agenda greatly. In these instances the HolySpirit will move the mantle to another individual to stay on course. In this instance you might be unable to recover the lost encounter :the parable of the talent that was withdrawn from the one who buried his and given to another. Thus it's important we build up the place of the watchmen in ourselves but also in the body of Christ who are able to run with God's timetable- accurately insync with God and not miss out on His encounters with us
