That was a terrible drama, so much abuse and violence in that drama, if I had a family like that I would rather be an orphan. At least in the end she got justice.
I will never understand why the women in dramas like this never tell the man why they break up with them. It's obvious the couple loves each other and wants to be together. But for whatever reason, the girl also breaks up with the guy to keep the reason secret, causing nothing but big misunderstandings between them. This doesn't help because his evil mother and mistress are in his ear, causing him to misunderstand the girl more. Not to mention the girl has her own evil mother and brother to deal with. As the male lead told his family, he missed 5 years of being with the one he loved because they tried to control him. Now, he's going to live life for himself and be with his beloved.
