You have to hbeat the fifth island. At least for me, the first time I did it I already have al signpost proces (don´t know if it matters, but I thinks its very useful). After beating the 5 island you have to manually sleect the skull island that is on the top part of the map, just in the middle.

Either u need to get the DLC or if u already have it then all u need to do is beat the 5th island iirc
