    Great information, Tom, Thank you. I fly Young Eagles off a mowed grass, 4000 ft, sea level strip in my V35B. Prior to the Bo, I flew a Tiger, and I felt it preformed better than the Bo at this strip. I will grab an instructor and try the 20° Flaps. I think I need to mark the 20° flap angle. So thank you for some real world help flying Young Eagles. BTY, I really enjoyed the Daytona Beach training.

    I went back to my old manual for my F35 and it says to use 20 degrees of flaps, rotate at 60 mph and climb at 70 mph. The new manual which I keep in the plane has flaps up and climb at 78 mph at gross weight. Interesting. I basically never use flaps unless the field is rough. I don't go into fields that are much shorter then 1800ft anyways which the plane handles very well.
