George, the first thing to check if there is no carbonation is to see if your out of co2 gas!!! there is no air in the carbonator tank, its gas. Also if your not getting water to pump into your carbonator tank is you could have a bad backflow preventor that is located on the output side of the procon pump, could also cause the grinding of the pump. also if your carbonator has a float probe unplugging and plugging it back in will not reset it
Ok, I'm not looking for basic troubleshooting tips for a carbonation pump. That's extremely basic and common sense. Any idiot that doesn't know what you presented shouldn't be troubleshooting a pet rock. This video was labeled "anatomy and repair". How does the thing work? What does it do? I mean, of course, it carbonates the water, but what, internally, does it do to carbonate the water? If the pump is bad, how do I tear it down and possibly make repairs?
How are you chilling ???

Thanks for the tips Paul!
I agree Paul. Some of the information was incorrect
One sign of a defective carbonator is when you try to get a carbonated beverage and your unit is only blowing co2 and syrup
@@TheChoiknight it could also be something as simple as being unplugged,
@@TheChoiknight the float probe could be defective and it’s just not letting the tank get enough water.
