There are many many recordings of this duet. None-not one single one-surpasses this. It’s a treasure, and I’m so grateful it’s preserved on video. Now if we can only get the new generation of singers to listen to it they might learn something-steady, pitch-centered (as opposed to vibrato centered 🤮), wobble-free, unforced effortless singing. This was only 18 years ago. Yet few today could match this let alone surpass it. Bravi tutti.

Sumi jo fait toujours ca et bcp de diva le font dans les aiguës notamment. Quand elles l'ont parfaitement et veulent le faire durer ... le chef d'orchestre n'est pas un dictateur intraitable et dirige main dans la main avec la soprano qui a un rôle aussi important que lui .
