I was a member of J.T Curtis’s first win team in 1970. I was a freshman defensive tackle when Curtis beat Delta Heritage Academy for their first win ever!
Joe was so good by half time he earned his stats for the night, this game and the playoffs are probably the only full games he played because he did teams soo dirty in the 1st & 2nd qtrs....He's an ancestor now...Bless it

I’m only 21 and I remember watching this game as a little boy plus I was also keeping up with Two-a days and as I got older i always look back on this game. And I wanted to know if hurricane katrina didn’t happen and some of the guys from that are of Louisiana didn’t move to go to Texas and other states. How would Louisiana football be back in this era.
I’ve never thought of that either but I grew up with several friends playing football that ended up staying here in Texas after Katrina, definitely makes a lot of sense though you even have people like Derrick Lewis that stayed in Houston afterword. Texas hs football heated up a lot following Katrina, just look at recruiting then vs now.
Hoover was a force in Alabama high school football starting in year 2000 through 2015 . After the 2015 season they pretty much went down hill from then on. Thompson is now the force in 7A

It’s funny seeing the wide receiver recruiting rankings pop up and they mentioned everyone on the list except Dez Bryant 😆 and he ended up being the beast
Hoover begged UA-cam to take down the Miami Central game where they was supposed to be Dream Team 2015, but got whipped by a team with 40 players and only ran 1 play the whole game.😂

The referees are terrible and should never be allowed to referee a game ever again that's too well-coached teams to have that many penalty flags on every play. Home cooking the referee's did everything in their power to try and let the home team win absolutely terrible officiated game
@King Judah joe was a great player but #21 had some big runs and TD, QB had a TD and the QB threw some really good passes to MCknight. He didn't beat them by himself

Never thought of that, hurricane katrina did kinda mess up cfb for a few years with recruits being displaced

I remember this time. Didn’t they have a show on tv or something like that
Yeah they did. I believe it was called, Two-a-Days

One episode they played against Nease High with Tim Tebow. Hoover beat Tebow's team.
