Really? That's Ridic! I think I know why... Cuz they want the world to look at these "stars" like they ARE. God's. Spiritually enlightened and inhabited. But, guess what... THEY ARE ONLY PEOPLE! They sold their soul, but they die like the rest of us. It's what comes LATER (Not here) that matters.
I'm sorry to hear that! Why did they do that?
Sorry that happened. You do excellent work. I will check out your link.
@@rbergs7193 That happens when you use copyrighted material.
Born in 1964 and really lucky to have had great sitcoms, music, and a feeling of freedom in the 1970's.
Me too and I completely agree!!!
I wish I could've been there. I was born in 1981.
Yes Richard, I was born in 1962, I would go back to the 70s in a heartbeat..
Put me in a time machine! 😊
I believe we are the last generation to have enjoyed life. The generation before us had the best life. Now I feel so sorry for my children and grandchildren. Marriage is a thing of the past and relationship will now last no longer than a few years if there even that strong. Everyday values drop and civil rights are taken from people to protect the public.. 1984 has truly arrived.
Love/hate watching these before and now’s. Love the memories, hate the reminder that life goes by way to fast.
Truth
Sure does
Some became better looking when they got older, others just became older 😎
@@froggylegspeople i shit myself when i watched it😂😂😂😂
@@mehchocolate1257 Ew.
Too many died too young. I loved the show. It's a clasic.
Yes they did. It's all the more reason to remember these Shows as they were..
With a few exceptions it's remarkable how well the cast aged. Such a fun show back in the day!
John Travolta has aged VERY WELL! He still has a youthful look about him
Loved that show! In 1975, when this aired, I was 14. Sometimes when you're young, you don't always know why you find a show appealing, but you do. Maybe because it dealt with High School and I was in School! So, it was relatable to me! I'm glad I was alive and at the age to enjoy the actors, the characters and the show itself!
Back then, it was a great time to be alive! As you can see by videos like this, you never know how many days you have. Enjoy what you have, be thankful and laugh a little.
Love this great video. Brings be back to my childhood plz keep up the great work
ReAlity tv isn't really reality. It is made-up reality. If that makes any sense.
Back when I taught school I was Mr. Cotter. Strange kids, best years of my life!
That was a great sitcom, me and my sister use to watch it when we were kids, " up your nose with a rubber hose" , " get off my case toilet face" lol.
Back in the early 80s I used to watch reruns of welcome back kotter and Sanford and son after I got home from school. Those were my favorite shows back then. I have watched all the episodes of welcome back kotter and Sanford and son over and over on and off over the years and never got tired of them. Best shows ever and very funny.
As Carvelli has had the exact facial expression for over 40 years. Amazing.
Great video and show RIP to those who passed away
That was a great show. It's run from 1975-1979, I was age 12-16. I loved watching that show. John Travolta had a great acting career. Debra Lee Scott played in some police academy movies. Great show 👍. Rest in peace to the ones that have passed away.
Live every day like it is your last
Yes. So true. Life is too short. Enjoy every minute u have left. We dont get a second chance.
The show premiered during my freshman year of high school in the fall of 1975.
PLEASE NEVER CHANGE THE MUSIC!!!
So amazing how they all ‘live forever’ w love and laughs for all via 📺
They were all so wonderful...
Well they teased em alot but they got em on the spot welcome back.
It's amazing most of them haven't changed that much
We were all young and beautiful once upon a time.
Best of time.wao memories😑👍
Ha. I had forgotten about Hotsy Totsy, and did not remember James Woods at all being on WBK.
I watched every time it was on. Don't remember Woods or Carlin.
A reason I love peanut butter still to this day.
😉😉
"Mr. Kotta!" "What happened to you?!"
@Dennis Expose Yup, he is in for the surprise of his life.
remember Gabe Kaplan was pushing 'Pepsi comparison' commercials TV around that time. Always enjoyed him, shoulda kept the mustache tho-
Best show growing up
4:08 RIP Debralee Scott. Miss her! Died too young!
Cavelli looks crazy as hell now😂
Seems like it was just yesterday.....
I was born and raised in Queens N.Y. Went to W.C. Bryant H.S. in Astoria. '70>'73 ✌🏻
Suzie Lanier Bramlett was and IS so beautiful! had such a crush on her as a kid in the late 80s!
Fascinating
Love the music on this channel!
Wow I had no idea so many people of this show died so young
Check out Larry Hilton(Washington) in Rob Zombies 31! He kicks some ass in it!
Love u guys
:)another good one
Oh lord Mr kotter went from having so much hair to being almost bald 😅😅
See u never know how u gonna be @ a old age
I loved this show 🧡🧡🧡
For the most part this broke my heart. :-(
So many of them died fairly young
nice memories
Isn’t it sad that the most memorable characters are not with us anymore this show, although Gabe Kaplan was supposed to be the comedic star, this show was one of the most iconic sitcoms of the 1970’s. I sure feel blessed that I was able to watch these shows as a young kid in the 70’s I don’t care what anybody says today’s TV and acting is terrible. Modern sitcoms are terrible and not funny Political correctness and other do’s and don’ts have made modern television horrible.
people should live forever and never age
Lawrence Hilton Jacobs looks the best out of all of them
It sucks how short life is and how unfairly time ticks away on each of us
Can you do Interview with a vampyre? Great music.
John has a great wig
wowwwww 💜💙✨💜💜💚✨💙
Father Time is still undefeated.
He died in 2012. I do not remember his acting after the Welcome Back, Kotter. But, his hairstyle! He needs to cut it shorter or color it, and look 10 (maybe 20) years younger.
Epstein and Vinnie went to ford's and played pop Warner football john howard was there coach my uncle
The lady after John Travolta would go on to play Will's mother on FRESH PRINCE OF BELAIR.
Everyone aged well. Epstein with all that hair.
RIP 2012
I watched it every week along with Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley. The TV guide was my bible. Best of times!
I used to watch all those shows too--probably Happy Days more than the others, though.
When TV shows were great !
All those programs were also available here in Australia too.
It was one of my favourite shows along with "Good Times", "Gilligan's Island", "Land of The Giants", "The Thunderbirds", and many more.
We never had mobile phones or the internet, so we watched TV..

So sad to see the ones that passed away, one of my favorite tv shows growing up, 70s, 80s shows were the best and sooo wholesome, nowadays a bunch of crap!!
I don't remember hearing about it in 2012, when a couple of the sweathogs (Epstein and Horshack) passed away...or for that matter, "Julie Kotter" in 2014.
It was great living back then , people were so much nicer than now .

@@not-so-smartaleck8987 I don't remember hearing about them either. So sad that we lost many of them at a fairly young age.
I agree with you, TV shows are really bad I got rid of my cable
If only we knew and appreciated back in the '70s that we were living through the best years of our lives...
Agreed. 70-80’s even early 90’s was great tv. Even though technology has improved a lot of lives, it has ruined the social aspect of life & the value of interaction! I miss the simplicity of the social aspect of the 80’s. Everything is so impersonal now.
Speak for yourself! My family happens to be black and my mother would tell me about how racist it was back then when I was a child in the 80s. Nonetheless, I used to watch reruns on WGN in the mid 80s and thought it was a good show.
Who knew then that Democrats hated us so much that they would destroy our way of life?

They didnt seem- They were.
Seemed is correct the 1970's were extremely violent in urban neighborhoods take Brooklyn for example where the show took place.
The scariest thing is that a global ring of criminal elites are making everyone acquiesce and obey in a planned scam on route to Agenda 21 and a tyrannical one world government. It's Time to WAKE UP before it's too late

Helaine Lembeck has aged really well !
She looks almost the same...and the late Marcia Strassmen looked good too,,,
Very much so.
Make up and photoshop
I’d be in it like a rat up a drainpipe.
Helaine lembeck was the daughter of Harvey lembeck who played in the beach party movies.
James Woods looks better in his 70's than when he play on WBK.
I did not remember that James Woods even had a character on Welcome Back, Kotter. I must've missed those episodes!
@@josbar2835 Nor did I. Same with Gopher from the love boat.
"Welcome Back, Kotter" was one of my favorite 70's sitcoms. I'm 73, so I grew up in the 50's and 60's. I identified with the show's characters and stories as my high school experience was somewhat close to the show, especially the "Sweathogs" and the girls that frequently made my life less than bearable! I'm sad to see that some of my favorite actors are now deceased. Thank you for a very nice retrospect on the show, its characters and actors.
Keep the faith friend.
@@chazvalvo2840 "Keeping the faith" gets harder every day!

I wish I could go back as well. If only I realized how good I had it!!!
Got teary eyed watching this I just bought the entire series last week! Excellent Show! I miss these days and I'm only 20
Rivver Bonner Awww! Bless you...
That show screamed Brooklyn, and being a Brooklyn native, it really hit home for me. Especially the opening titles, starting with that "Welcome to Brooklyn" sign (which is on the Belt Parkway southbound (eastbound?) just past the Verrazano Bridge). And of course the R-32 subway cars on the B passing "James Buchanan" HS (which was really New Utrecht HS). Great show. RIP to all who have passed
Always remember that intro to Welcome back Kotter' with song brings back memories grade 1

Jan Smithers my all time TV crush and what a great show too-We were so fortunate that every day and week we were treated to some great-funny -family time TV. It was stuff even our parents enjoyed and laughed to. Nowadays parents wouldnt even want to see the trash the kids do watch.

I thought she was cute too but graduated to the much hotter and still cute Jan Smithers on WKRP.
Just ran across this. Brought up great memories. Super show for good laughs but I must admit. I really felt old and sad looking at the cast and how many have passed on.
Wish I could hear Washington say "hi there!"
He'd like to but there is no microphone .. hand - ay.
My favorite characters were Horseshack and Boom-Boom Washington, "Hi, there!"
Hi there
Or Mister Kot-tear....
For the more successful actors, ones you've watched in other TV shows or films throughout the years, their ‘now’ appearance is expected. But for the ones who never really followed up with anything major - they remain in our memory as they appeared in these shows. The aging is startling and a reminder of what is happening to all of us.
Carter "Ok, everybody sit alphabetically." "You must be Albright. "
Epstein "No, Epstein. "
Carter "Epstein starts with an E. What makes you think you belong in the front row?"
Epstein "Because everyone says Aaa, Epstein. "
🤣🤣🤣 I'll never forget that.
I just hate finding out that the ones we grew up with and loved had passed away without us knowing. I guess in some strange way,we wished they could live forever 🙏🏽😞🙏🏽
Yeah, FWIW I don't remember hearing of their passings at the time (e.g. in 2012 or 2014, for three of them).
2005 Debra Lee Scott that was the saddest one of all..
her police fiance was one of the ones that died in 9/11 when the towers collapsed.
she just couldn't overcome her grief she turned to the bottle and she drank so heavily that within less than five years she killed her liver..she had slowly started to come out of her shell and was trying to rehab in a way but by the time she agreed to move down to Florida within a few days of moving in with her mother she died.. cars with cirrhosis of the liver..the 9/11 tragedy and losing her fiance was such a emotional toll that within less than five years she drank so hard and heavily she had no liver when she passed away in 2005
I was 6 when this came on, I can't believe how long it's been. The girl who is shown after John Travolta she. Played Will Smith mom and now 30yrs later she is on Mondays at 830 Bob loves Abosola. I hope spelled that right.
I’m only 11 and I love this show
whitesx05 so cool that you found it amd love. Plenty of others to check out from the 70s and 80s. Happy Days was my favourite.
Mr Scientology Travolta lost his hair years ago, he got a full hair transplant in Clearwater Florida
now he's shaved his head completely bald.
I think John Travolta looks better with head completely shaved bald.
Yeah he still looks good so what’s your point? He didn’t get a cock transplant
I think its funny Travolta gets harrassed for being Scientologist but no one says anything about George Carlin being an atheist.
I always wondered who society hates most, out spoken scientologists or out spoken atheists.
Now I know.
@@marypatton1122 I'll tell you the difference. Atheists will leave you alone but try walking on a public sidewalk with a camera near a Scientology building and see how they come out trying to act like cops... or invite one to your home and listen to that person talk non-stop trying to persuade you to surrender your belongings, sign over your home and furnishings to their cultist money-hording organization and become a slave to them... I met a few hiding out in an isle in the Caribbean, they only came out at night and always with a group of family member (I knew from my teenage years).
