I'm 48 from Costa Rica and I go through pretty much the same thing. Blood pressure, cholesterol, things like that and stress gives you this anxiety. Yes most of the times is a hart problem. You need to eat better and take care of your self. Walk 20 to 30 min a day

Everything (mostly)you’re going through I have experienced in my life. Made it to 52 and still kicking. Sometimes If I try and sleep on my stomach my heart sounds like a two cylinder engine with a misfire. It lasts about 5 seconds and then goes back to normal. Every heart test comes back normal. My kids are grown and Ive had a good life. If I blows, it blows. We all gotta meet the man, no getting around it. Find peace in your life and have gratitude for what we have now. Do what makes you happy and love the ones closest to you. It’s all we can do. I truly enjoy your work buddy. Thank you.

I developed myocarditis after Covid in 2020 and it has caused a lot of heart issues since and it’s honestly a horrible thing because the condition itself isn’t supposed to be the end of the world but the anxiety that comes with all the episodes of palpitations, pcvs, dull aches, arm pain and flares each time I get sick. It’s a constant worry. I lost my dad when I was young too and sudden death from cardiac issues was my worst fear and now I’ve dealt with this condition for four years now. It’s crazy I opened this video when I was just trying out go to calm myself down. I suspect an enlarged left ventricle and scarring based on my symptoms but I’ve never had a cardiac MRI to confirm. I can’t even play games to avoid the adrenaline. I also feel sensations and feelings when I do the wrong things like stress or smoking. I have completely given up alcohol and have completely changed my lifestyle. I was also prescribed beta blockers but never took them. Shortness of breath is something I have during my flares. I also feel like I’m “super in tune” with myself too due to this. I feel all the sensations in my chest. My view on all this is to try to control what we can. Fix other aspects to make sure your heart is as healthy as you can be. Keep doing those checkups. I’ll have to try some magnesium as well. You helped me tonight and I wish you the best man.

I want you to try something for me. Tackle things one at a time. Focus on your anxiety without thinking about your heart because thats an obvious cause of it but NOT the root. I think you may be unlocking a fear of leaving your kids without a parent like your mother. I suffer from anxiety that affects my entire body and it got night and day better when I addressed my issues with my parents. The root is normally something you’ve been avoiding not something you focus on. Praying for you brother. Much love. Your videos are the highlight of my day 🙏

Hunter. I'm a new subscriber and have only been watching your videos for the last few weeks, but I'm so happy to see this video. You are NOT alone. I've dealt with your EXACT thoughts and feelings my entire life. Listening to you talk about your anxiety felt like I was hearing my inner monologue.
I'm 29 years old, 130lbs, active lifestyle, and I eat semi-okay-ish. I have always had the same fears as you. I grew up watching my father deal with health anxiety. He would always check his pulse, or ask me "do you ever feel (insert health issues)?". As a child, this was something that I saw from him all the time. My parents went through a divorce when I was 5 years old. My dad got me in the custody battle. I believe his job, being a single parent and dealing with my mom's nonsense played a pivotal role in his health anxiety. He tried all sorts of things to mask his anxiety but never could. Anyway, as a small child I grew up watching this behavior and unfortunately adopted it as well. Ive always thought that death was right on my door step. As a child I never really felt any symptoms of anything (no heart flutters, etc). I had my first full on panic attack when I was 12-14. I was laying in bed with my mom and I suddenly felt like my face went numb. My brain immediately thought I was having a stroke, so I freaked out. Never have I ever felt those feelings before. Since then, it's been downhill. Point is, in 29 years old now and still struggle with the same thoughts daily. Just like you, im afraid to be too far from civilization, a hospital, or someone that can help me. My anxiety completely controls my life. I've missed out on so many things that I feel that I would enjoy because "what if I start feeling like *insert issue*?".
All that to say, you're not alone. There are many of us that feel this way daily.
If I had a recommendation for you, I want to tell you that for me, sleep is everything. If I don't get enough sleep, I will feel terrible all day. Same if I sleep too much. Also, I think you should get tested for sleep apnea. I know it sounds silly, but sleep apnea can cause all sorts of anxiety and mental issues. It can also affect the heart directly. Please talk to your doctor about this!
Sorry for the long winded comment!

      @Wreckedekcoupe 3 місяці тому +1

Love the comment. I can relate a bit to you as well with my dad and mother being separated when i was young with my dad winning the custody for me after numerous battles. I also felt like death was one step away and tried to live my youth like each day could be my last but as im getting older (32) im finding thats its hard to do the simplest of things. With therapy, counseling, and meditation i am getting by the best i can right now. Wish you the best and have a great day!

Everything you're saying about yourself, I feel like I've been experiencing. I recently started monitoring my sleep and use a sleep app to help keep my sleep schedule in check. I love working on cars all day everyday. I do it for work as well. There are days that I've fallen off on my sleep schedule and I drag ass all day. Then there are days where I'm all go go go. I will rip though cars all day and sling wrenches like non other. It's like I'm hyper focused, I don't even think about what I'm doing it just happens, and it's a never ending rush. I started eating less and spreading my meals out throughout the day and it has helped my overall mood/day to day balance on energy. There are days though were it feels like my chest is going to explode. Sometimes when I'm leaning over a car and put pressure on my chest it aches so bad when that pressure goes away that it feels like a knife is in me, and I feel like I can't catch my breath or my heart just hurts. I seriously don't know how to explain it. I hope you find a solution as I have not yet. Maybe it's just getting old. What a lot of us do in this line of work isn't good for our bodies and some of us it might just take a toll on quicker.

Anxiety is a funny thing. I had a nervous break down around 7-8 years ago. It was from job stress I figure. As well as realizing I’m a parent and responsible for so much now. I started having panic attacks and couldn’t even work for like 2 months. I couldn’t drive my car because I was afraid. Couldn’t do heights anymore because I was afraid (structural welder…gotta be ok with that ). Well eventually thru cognitive reinforcement and daily reciting of positive things etc I got over it. It took me around 6 months to be 90 percent and another year or two to be totally normal again. I still get anxious sometimes as I think we all do. But I’ve learned to talk myself down to get out of it. Manage your stress. It can be a bitch and will get you without you seeing it coming.
It’s funny because my dad has the heart anxiety so you remind me of that. When it’s quiet at night he can feel his heart and he thinks this is it. This is the end. He’s gotten a lot better tho. It takes a lot of patience and time
In the end be patient with yourself man. But definitely look into cognitive reinforcement practices. It’s all about retraining your brain to not go into fight or flight at every silly opportunity. Quite often fear will cause anxiety and the adrenaline of the anxiety will cause the fear etc. it all feeds on itself. Like a child’s fertile imagination. Eventually you can remind yourself that you’re fine. I also found comfort in this one thing. If I die right now .. if this is it … is it really so bad ? It’ll be over and I won’t feel this anymore…. So if that’s the worst that can happen .. bring it on
I hope this helps you. I enjoy watching your videos. I’m a fairly seasoned tuner of around 10 years and I do it all but I still find myself learning from you and other UA-camrs ;). Best of luck man. Keep up with the content.
    Evan

Your anxiety will disappear once you no longer fear the unknown. Embrace the unknown! We are all on borrowed time here. Don’t waste it thinking too much. I’ve have similar experiences but with my asthma. When I’m feeling these ways I’ll sit in a dark room and listen to some good old Alan watts lectures. You’ll learn that our mind is a very powerful tool, but if you don’t know how to use it fully. It can also tear you down.

I suffer from panic attacks that are set off by physical ailments. It took me years to figure it out. An example would be a leg ache. This ache would cause me to worry about having a cramp and my brain would dump the chemicals to cause a panic attack. It always freaked me out to the point of going to the hospital multiple times. I still suffer from panic attacks but being able to pinpoint the triggers have helped a bunch. Also was prescribed Xanax which I rarely take but knowing I have one on my keychain alone helps a bunch too. Thank you for sharing and God bless.

Hey man, I've been dealing with something similar for about 10-12 years. No family history of heart stuff but it freaked me out. Lots of palpitations and double beats. Ended up going to a few doctors because like you it would freak me out, and I'd go to the hospital to be told everything's fine. Turns out I had a PFO (really small hole in my heart). Everything else was fine. They found that with a bubble test during an echo. They said it's super small and not really anything to worry about and couldn't even hear it. Only see it. Anyways, id encourage you to get a few different cardiologists opinions. If anything it will help ease your mind. I'm glad your relationship with Christ is helping you through this as well. Whenever I'm reading my Bible more and being in the spirit more it helps me to feel better as well and I have the peace to think things through better.

in 2007 when I was 48, I had my aortic valve replaced with a mechanical valve, because it was leaking pretty bad, as seen on the ultrasound echo. There are a bunch of non normal heart patterns, I had/have PVC , (premature ventricular contraction), which are a pretty common fault but not extremely dangerous. It feels like a "double beat"... As my aortic leaks became more severe, it got to the point I had to rest while walking up a small hill. After my replacement valve surgery, the number of those PVC beats have almost disappeared. I was an average marathon runner at the time, running 30 miles a week or so. I did run a couple marathons with the replacement valve, and they went ok.
Your "mild" leaking" means it may not be worth surgery to repair at this point. Have you had a holter monitor test? Usually they hook you up to a bunch of wires for a couple days with a portable monitor, and you go about your activities. This thing records all your heart beats for a couple days, so they can see what you are feeling... Sounds like you are doing the right things, and asking the right questions. Heart murmurs are valves leaking , common in infants, and usually disappear. If you have a enlarged heart, there are some thing they can do for that, but not an easy fix. Perhaps your's is not an extreme case. This is just my experience, and it may not apply to your situation.

My brother would randomly just pass out and face down. It happened occasionally but it always measured fine at the ER.
One morning he face planted in his breakfast, they rushed to the ER and he measured fine once more. Luckily sitting on the table his heart stopped while he was still hooked up. They had measured it.
He ended up with an internal heart shock pulse. He has always exercised and his resting heart rate was below 60, the device was set to shock his is heart while he was just resting, he had to wait for a couple weeks until the manufacturers rep could come to reprogram the unit because the Dr couldn’t do it. He’s been fine for 20+ years now.
I had to wear a heart monitor for a week because I’d get random heart flutters, they finally caught it.
Years later I ran across the Jigsaw health products. They make a magnesium product that’s been lab proven to be more absorbable than any other product. The also time release it so it doesn’t give you the bowl flush that large quantities of magnesium gives you. They make several forms that have better absorption in various parts of the body. I started taking them regularly 3 years ago, no more heart flutters, I sleep better with their magsooth products before bed and my confusion and brain fog went away with the brain boost formula.
Just a suggestion. I was so intolerant of any magnesium at first that I had to start with pumpkin seed and magnesium oil on my feet, I now can take 3 of their magsrt tablets a day, 4 brain boost and a pack of the magsooth before bed. I feel better than I have in almost 15 years and in 68 years old. Anxiety is rough.
Lions mane and micro dosing had also been shown to have dramatic reductions in anxiety if the magnesium doesn’t get you all the way there. Look up Stamets stack for an example.
Both my cardiologist and my neurologist have me taking Co-Q10 also. It powers the heart muscle almost as much as some adrenaline, helps with the shortness of breath that goes with it.
    Good luck. ✌️

Health anxiety is real, I started getting it after covid, worried about getting sick and dying. You have those feelings when randomly something in your body feels 'weird' or you start getting sick and then you spiral into that anxiety feeling of your heart racing, beating weird, chest tightness, feeling like you're going to die because it might be something seriously wrong with you. Anyways I've gotten checked out as well, went to urgent care several times only to be told that everything is fine and I've come to realize it's just my anxiety. Identifying it is definitely the first step and admitting that it's in your head as well. I started going to a therapist and she was great helping me realize and deal with those 'catastrophizing' feelings where when something goes wrong like I start feeling weird I don't have to jump to the 'worst case' scenario (for example if I have a weird lump it's not cancer). You can only live in the now and you can only go off of the information you have, there is no reason to worry about random scenarios that *might* happen. Part of my issue was investigating and looking up all my symptoms (which it sounds like you're doing, researching magnesium and adrenaline and coming to your own conclusions about your symptoms). Googling your symptoms and whatnot will make your anxiety worse thinking there is something wrong with you. I know it's hard but you just need to tell the doctors what is going on and let them come to the conclusions for you. Everything else is out of your control and you have to learn to live with it, sometimes the 'root' is just inside your own head. Like I said the only thing that really started to help me is stop investigating all your symptoms, if it's serious go to the doctor and see what they say, otherwise I just take the opinion that it's my anxeity and to not worry since I can't control it and I have to learn to just let it be. Once you start accepting that everything is what it is, life gets better and the anxiety goes down. I haven't had a panic attack in about a year since I started recognizing that I was causing myself to be anxious thinking of all the weird scenarios and 'what ifs'. Also, I know you're getting into Jesus and Christianity and whatnot which is great if that works for you, but I've recently started listening to Alan Watts speeches on UA-cam, maybe check those out, he looks at questions like why are we here, what is the purpose of life, etc. Anyways man, keep on keeping on, we're only here for a short time, you gotta just learn to let go and enjoy life while it's here. Maybe one day we will meet up and do some dyno time :D.

It's life. Life is stressful it's the way that it's designed. Perhaps you need to smoke a joint and not think about anything except happy thoughts, relaxing thoughts, and nothing matters. Time does not exist. try that thought process every now and again
