Algoway's last trip to River Rouge

M/V Algoway of the Algoma Central Corporation fleet, launched June 23, 1972. She is powered by 4 Fairbanks Morse 1666 horsepower 10-cylinder diesel engines. She has 4 holds where she can carry 20750 tons at maximum Seaway draft of 26 feet and is capable of carrying 24000 tons. The Algoway is 650 feet long. And the end of the 2017/2018 sailing season one of here Fairbanks engines gave out bringing her sailing career to an end. This was filmed in River Rouge Michigan, first on the Detroit River and then on Rouge River.
