The show draws A LOT of it's names, themes and ideas from japanese folklore and history. What Pain says about nuking cities in order to make them be averse to war is in a way what happened to japan. Obviously it's not as simple and straightforward as that and there are countless other factors playing a role, but if you look at japanese culture and history in the 100 years before the nukes, you're looking at a lot of wars. you have a lot of fighting within japan but also conquests to subjugate countries around them. if you look at the ~80 years since the nukes fell, you look at a comparatively peaceful and conflict avoiding society. but again, that is very VERY simplified and ignoring a lot of other cultural, societal and political changes that took place over the century everywhere in the world.

because Pain grew up in war,must to fight for his own life everyday,he saw all evil and cruelty of mankind,and he has been trying to implement his plan for half of his conscious life,while Sasuke's change his mind a few times per day,at first he wanted destroy Konoha,after that He says that he wants to be Hokage, then in just a few hours he already wants to be the main evil, compared to Pain, Sasuke's motivation looks like the whims of a small child, that's why people don't like it, if Sasuke had prepared this plan for half of Shippuden, it would be adequate, but in reality his "plan" just came out of nowhere, so that the last fight between him and Naruto could take place, and as soon as he lost, he immediately became good and fluffy again
@@KauanFelipe-k Both of their plans are impossible, they both dream of utopia, and such a thing cannot happen in real life, if it doesn't sound like it, but really the closest plan to "utopia" is eternal Tsukuyomi, the only option where there will be absolute peace and happiness for everyone, all the other plans are somehow far from ideal, and temporary, Naruto's plan may not be ideal, but Naruto himself is a character with strong motivation and life position, and such a person is much more reliable in such things than the impulsive Sasuke, let's take like this, today he wants to be the main evil, everything seems to be ok, everyone has united against him, and tomorrow, for example, Sasuke's plans will change again, and what then? Sasuke is too unstable a character in such matters, so I really doubt that Sasuke would be a better option than Naruto
