Another Joohoney composed and produced masterpiece. And the 6 mics at he end are a perfect way to keep Shownu in it.
YÉSSSSS, Monsta x is the group who can do a 2022 song looks like from 90's and 2000's without lose his own style, you know what I mean? I'm a big fan of backsteet boys and this album gave me some of these old and beautiful vibes, the tune, lyrics, arrangment, dance, style... everything is on another level.... in the end, this is a UNIQUE WORK OF ART. Jooheon told us in the Showcase that this song were meant for monbebes, to convey his love toward us. I hope the whole world would have analyzed every part of mx's songs (like meaning lyrics dances mv and everything) like you...then all of them would have been a part of our mbb family....please react to the whole album i mean the remaining b side tracks . THANK YOU.

You aren’t familiar with their b-sides? Sir. You’re doing yourself a disservice! Monsta X is WELL known in the fandom for having b-sides that are often times better than their title tracks. So yourself a favor on your next day off and just go listen to as much of their discography as you can lol. You won’t be disappointed.
I'm a B-side fan too, for all the groups that I follow! The choices that the members make on their B-sides show their personal musical preferences compared to title tracks which are created to be more "out there". Looking forward to checking out your boys' B-sides

@@Julianna_w In this case where Jooheon wrote the tittle track this doesn't apply but yes soke groups have B sides that are personally written when the tittle isn't so the B side kay sound more like what you imagine them to likr
Jooheon is a musical genius the production is BEAUTIFUL. Also I heard no diggity too, that's the first thing I thought of when I heard the teaser. It reminded me of when Jooheon said that no diggity was his favorite song in an interview like 3 years ago and now he sampled it so I found that super cool!
You mentioned No Diggity!! Believe it or not, It was one of Joohoney’s favorite songs, he has mentioned it before! Yes, it’s influenced by old school R&B Hiphop!

it's jooheon's third title track, couldn't be more proud!! they are amazing
I think this is the most complex title he has ever produced. Because every time you hear it, you notice a different detail, a different instrument, a different beat. I believe that here he put all of his 90's references and the influence he has of R&B and Hiphop into it. Jooheon is a musical genius, it's amazing to see his musical evolution in his 10-year career. It's really a shame that Starship only let him produce the titles now , imagine the masterpieces we would have had before ?

And something about Monsta x, since everyone knows more of their title songs that tends to be more agressive most thinks all of their songs are like this 🤣🤣🤣 but their bsides are a totally different level, for Shape of Love the album its all old-school kind of vibe, and has pop, sweet and melodic songs 💞🤧 (just like No Limit were Rush Hour its all hardcore but the bsides are all funky).
Also Joohoney produced and writed "Love" ❤️ the instrumental he brought this time was amazing!
If there's anything consistent about monsta x is that they are not afraid to explore genres. And yet at the same time you can listen to their songs and be like "ya this is monsta x." As much as I love their title tracks, their b-sides are another type of amazing!!!
For me it gave me Gin & Juice and California Love. Being in my 30s I heavily appreciated this sound lol. Definitely check out the mini. I'd say R&B and old school hip hop are not unfamiliar sounds to them, Disaster comes to mind and that was from their follow/find you album so it's been a while. We did recently get some Jazzy b-sides from their One of a Kind album as well. So cool, I love these guys so much

Yeah, the MX b-sides will come for you eventually. I listen to the b-sides more than the title tracks. OT7 b-sides on repeat: Mohae, Need U, UR, All I Do, 5:14 (Last Page). OT6 b-sides: Night View, Last Carnival, Secrets, Heaven, Rotate, Nobody Else, About Last Night. OT5 b-sides: Autobahn, Ride With U, I Got Love, and the entire Shape of Love album. The creative freedom my boys are enjoying now is on another level and I’m here for it!
I've been a fan since late 2019 and I agree that this is different from their usual title tracks. You should def listen to their b-sides. I recommend you to listen to the fatal love album.
SIR, BUT THEIR B-SIDES ARE GOD TIER! EVERY MBB WOULD TELL YOU THAT THEIR B-SIDES ARE PROBABLY BETTER THAN THEIR TITLE TRACKS
plus they explore way more genres, they actually make my favorite r&b music in kpop along with EXO, believe it or not
they also do edm, pop, jazz, ballads, deep house..you name it, they've done it ..and done it well!

Like you, I've never been so hype about a MX title track till now! The song and MV style brings me back to the 90s and yes....the iconic keyboard hook from Non Diggity can be heard. I'm glad that Jooheon took the influences from an era which I love!!

Please hear their bsides !!!! Their title tracks are amazing but their bsides are another level ! The boys (jooheon changkyun and now hyungwon ) have produced alot of their bsides and they are not afraid of any genre !

hello rj! it's been so long since i watched your videos and i noticed you have quite a few monsta x reactions since the last time i watched ya. i'll be getting to them, i am just so obsessed with this song that i gotta watch this one first LOL.
it's so funny because i can tell you wanted to pause so badly but couldn't stop hahaha. you gotta listen to their b-sides!! on some albums they're even better than the title tracks!
and it's definitely the piano in the background i feel, that gives it the "no diggity" vibes, also fun fact hyungwon sang "no diggity" during "no.mercy".
you should listen much more to their b-sides 'cause they will be beyond your expectation
this is absolutely my favorite monsta x title track!! i completely agree, i was not expecting such an old school vibe and im just blown away by how well they managed to pull off such a sound thats unique to them. i love how they managed to keep it laid back, mostly unstructured, it matched the very smooth and chill vocal delivery and groovy production. agh, i could scream about this song all day. i LOVE it so much (no pun intended). the music video, the glittery effects were so visually pleasing and of course, they all looked handsome as always ;) loved ur reaction !
