As a Bears fan, I can relate to the Lions fans being upset about their coordinators getting poached. This is a first that I can remember where the Lions had enough success that losing coaches to promotion was a thing. To many fan bases, this happens often. The Bears and Lions however usually turn over coaches due to firing midseason. Just when you finally get some coaches worth having, now they get promoted away. It rips your heart out, I’m sure. I have a great degree of certainty that MCDC will find other worthy candidates. Any up and coming coach would DIE to work with that great man. This progrum are certified Bears HATERS
Smooth
Bears fans crying crocodile tears about people bashing their boy. As a lions fan, he's all yours. Remember your excitement when he calls a wr pass on 3rd and 1 when your running back is averaging 9+yards a game. This guys ego got to big for him and it sank our team.
Bruh you guys have 2 winning years in last 20 years and now y’all think y’all the chiefs lol. Lions have never even sniffed a Super Bowl .
I think it was the right hire because he knows that division very well.
it's nice that this show has some token regards sitting behind the patriot helmet and Iowa cup to bring some balance
Lions Fan: Aaron went to the Jets happy for wish him all the best. But Ben going to a rival just seems like a slap in the face.
Hell I’m a Bears fan and would grovel at that man’s feet. He is the epitome of a leader. I have been rooting for the Lions every week they didn’t play Chicago this year. I was just as heartbroken after the Commander game. Lions fans will be fine.
Packers starters were getting beat up by the Bears which is why they sat them....
He's doing a half decent Dan Campbell impression anyway.
short answer: NO
Due to the fact our Bears Ownership have been clowns for decades. Chicago has to end being that place where Coaching and QB careers go to die...
As a Lions fan, I of course am a big Ben Johnson fan as well, can't say I'm happy about him staying in the division, but I'm happy for the guy none the less.
This division is going to be a blood bath moving forward, it already has arguably 3 of the top 10 coaches in the NFL, now it's just going to cannibalize itself every year moving forward, especially if Ben Johnson pans out in Chicago.
Everyone in Detroit loved Ben until he left for the Bears. Now they're pretending he had nothing to do with their success.
My beloved Bears will not win because the McCaskey family does not know what an offensive line is!
BJ does and he will guide Ryan Poles’ hand into drafting and signing FAs that HE LIKES to run HIS offense. LFG
Everybody loves Ben Johnson, until he gets hired by the Bears, then hiring him is the biggest mistake. So f-ing stupid
Ty always makes me laugh 😂
Nothing makes me happier than delusional Packer fans that see zero flaws in Jordan Love. Or that their team was one and done and barely beat the lowly Bears when we split games last year under Flus, or that Jordan Love actually injured his hand. But if you want to believe that franchises are cursed, I just want to remind you that Detroit the former 0-17 Detroit Lions, not Green Bay owns the North. My point, things change my friend.
Dan is the reason Ben Johnson is where he is at. Dan also hired Aaron Glenn(Jets HC), Hank Fraley(interviewed twice for OC w/Seahawks), Antwaan Randle El, Kelvin Sheppard, Shaun Dion Hamilton, Deshea Townsend(interviewed for 49ers DC job), Tyrell Williams(NE DC now) and more. DAN IS THE MAN. Nobody else. Don’t get it twisted. Let’s not give Ben Johnson credit for Dan being a great leader/evaluator.
What was dans record before Ben became OC.
Hey Ty the only starter packers sat was Jacob’s and you were one made field goal away from going 0-6 in the division. Your QB looked like dogshit in the playoffs so get off your high horse pal.
As a neutral, bears fans getting mad about them hating are so insecure lmao.
No it’s fact that the teams these clowns root for all suck, and then you have Detroit fans who have had 2 winning years in last 20 years acting like they’re the chiefs now
No ben johnson made the mistake not taking the commanders job 😮😮
I really want to thank the Bears for signing BJ from the Lions. This will obviously weaken the Lions as will losing their D coordinator. I look forward to next year sweeping all division game! Skol Vikings 🙏Skol 🙏SKOL🙏
He’s giving me crazy Adam Gase vibes
Not a mistake at all best hire since Lovie
yall are going to eat these words, this dude can coach. As a lions fan it hurts to see him leave but its well earned. Hell turn bears into a winning franchise for the next 10 years
Why does, everyone think that all coaches can be head coaches? It’s a unique Job
Bears fans are up in arms in this comment section 😂
Exact same thing happened in tampa last year. Our OC left after the season for the HC job in Carolina, another nfc south team
Think of it this way. Let’s say he did only care about & prioritize what he was going to do with the Bears but this man casually dropped 31 with his offense while distracted or no care in the world. That’s impressive I’m excited.
How is he "saving plays for Caleb" when he specifically said he's "ripping this thing down to the studs" and building a new playbook around Caleb and this offense? Make that make sense...
Dudes an idiot, Packers played their guys in last game trying to get their team playing better going into playoffs. That's why several got hurt including Love.
Or Watson's ACL deciding to go on vacation early
Oh someone is butt hurt 😂
@limbcollector22 in no way am I "but hurt", I just prefer my sports talk people to have a clue what they're talking about. You know considering it's their job and they're being well paid. This was a fact thing and not an opinion so he should have his facts right.
Why these dudes shtttin on him like they Lions fans tallkin about how he look and everything its cringe or like the Colts are any better than the Bears lol
If Brady wanted Ben. Im sure its a safe hire. I hope Bears get good. Cant wait to see Lions play them.
Most Lions fans don’t care BJ left. Kinda sucks it’s for the Bears because I don’t want to cheer for him, now. And no way, did that dude not want to win a ring. It’s wild to think that he didn’t want that just as much as everyone else.
I love how bitter Ty and Pat are!
Dude sounds so salty 😂😂
