I personally think this theme fits with the situation. You're playing as a new recruit and you're tasked to find and deactivate 3 malfunctioning robots who are all capable of insane feats not possible by any other penguin. Especially when you're going in blind. This also intensifies when you realise what these unpredictable robots are actually doing.

And now, the greatest achievement in penguin history is trying to destroy everything you hold dear. The island rests on you to save it. Can you destroy the Proto-Bot, or will the island fall to its incessant self upgrading, and an enslaved Gary?

Funny thing is it's the only thing in the game besides the Snow Trecker thats 3D (I know cause i ripped the model) the Disney gamer stuff used 3d but that doesnt count. Funfact: the disney gamer feature was removed in the PAL release however it's assets are still in the files.
OK I know this was a club penguin game (and I actually loved CP), but the final boss battle kinda made me believe I had to rescue G and the Elite Puffles before the big scary robot finished upgrading to be unstoppable. Hearing this music playing, and seeing the Elite Puffles trapped made me feel like a real secret agent, trying desperately to save my home from being destroyed for good.
