I came to know that there's no bgm in the movie only after ppl were discussing it on social media.
I couldn't notice it for a second, throughout the movie. Such a brilliance never came across in a Tamil movie.

Kottukaali is about the inner war/anger between Madurai Meenatchi God and the king Pandiyan..
The small temple bell shaking sound is like war start conch sound..
It also talks about the immature or fake proudness about caste in the scenes of Auto start failure, Bull scenes.. And talks about fake superstitious beliefs in the scenes of Auto worship, Period woman untouchables, Fake demon priest.. Though the film has some good scenes and messages it has two big problems and many scenes are not understood..
1. Movie taken for international awards and film intellectuals, not to educate village caste people and thereby bring positive change to the society.. The core purpose itself a failure👎
2. Leaving climax to audience.. This is again not a way to bring positive change to the society.. Audience will simply think to save the girl.. But director should have conveyed how she handled and overcome the problem..

Koozhangal is actually d pulling factor and applauds ,it ws engaging, surprising, blown as it's from tamil cinema, created around kottukali.. In an interview Vinodraj told Koozhangal took 2 1/2 years when they actually planned to shoot ,it evolved from d time taken from first writing to shoot... Literally whatever others have about Kottukali my opinion it s shot aesthetically, metaphor, lengthy shots and stay , it wsnt evolved properly.. Convey, conviction watever Vinod s happy to say or sudhir urself its fine.. Vinod s brilliant n filmmaking so u can't just force on .. And awards n festivals s completely other way around. Berlin r any foreign audience ll look this world new to them..for us it's same for us everyday.. Sudhir I'd really wish have a real discussion about filmmaking.. I m ur audience.. V hav it.... Stop materializing which wsnt conveyed properly..
