My parents had a trailer that was similar, it was round on the ends. We had it in northern Michigan. Can you believe 4 of us kids slept on the floor. We had great memories snowmobiling in winter, and hanging out in the summer.❤❤❤!!
I lived in a trailer very much like this. Believe it was all silver outside, the only windows that opened were the tiny ones near the roof, in the living room the windows were one one not 3, no windows in the doors. the kitchen was smaller and then a tiny room, a pocket door to the bathroom which was smaller, another pocket door to the bedroom. Loved that old trailer, especially all the woodwork, it was very comfortable.
My first home was a 1954 Liberty almost just like your's back in 1974. Mine was a little longer with a slanted window in the living room and a built in couch. Same in the bedroom except with a double bed. My kitchen had PINK counter tops and and built in 1/2 fridge with the pull lock handle. We didn't restore it at all, just cleaned it up and lived in it for years up in NH. Great little home. I love what you have done, especially the mirror back splash. I wallpapered mine with a vinyl paper. Yes, keep the bathroom green! 😍
Leave the wood! It’s adorable!! I love the kitchen! Don’t touch the bathroom!! That tile is worth so much money!! The price will depreciate if you redo that bathroom. It’s so darling!
My family lived in a similar trailer in about 62-63 in Kokomo, Indiana when my dad worked a year long temporary job. I don't really have memories but there are photos. I was 2-3.
I love it! Reminds me of a trailer I used to live in when I was around 7. Brings back memories! If I had the money, I would get something like th@t and find some property and live happily ever after with my cats !Thanks! Made my day!
Looks great takes me back to my youth my family grew up in one of these with the same floor plan mom and dad had a jackknife love seat in the front room and us kids 4 of us in short homemade bunks in the back room it was on a small plot of land stationary that my parents rented from elderly man
If you were able to, I would have totally put a fireplace right there where the pipe is. Like a wood-burning stove or something to keep the trailer warm even though it's not needed. It still would have been a really cool relaxing and cozy feature for in the winter time. Or on a rainy day.
❤ love this ! Great job ! I think it would of been nice to of put the frig up on a box type stand made of the same wood to bring it up to a more comfortable level to look inside of and easy to fill at a higher level.
Love the red wood in mine ,would never paint the wood, mine was in great shape, they took it as trade in on new model mobile home, gave us a great trade in also.they had trailer sold before it left my lot also
Nice job! I really like how you modernized the mechanicals and interior while staying true to the classic style. BTW, "Vanishing Point" is one of my favorite movies, and as a result have always wanted to visit Goldfield.
CLASSY “re-do!!” I bought an “older” trailer while I was in school; (I WANTED to re-make it like you did yours…BUT…OOPS! A hurricane came along…& destroyed my home…) THAT’S LIFE, right…?! BTW…#1’s FINE!! 👍🏻👍🏻😃
so cool...I love all the original touches. would think about keeping the beautiful wood if at all possible. maybe new counter and backsplash would help update.
It will need to be replaced soon. It is getting worse as it is used. But you can bet I’ll be doing my best to find the closest replacement to match it!
I did not source much of anything that was very specific. There were a few vintage trailer supply websites I used. Don’t remember them off hand. Would love to see pictures of yours!
Thought you said its off to a new home yet you plan repairs and uodos for the future Its perfect as is.... You did well if it isn't broken Don't fix it...
Age, rotting wood, loose screws causing flex. All of which were fixed. The “arch” was an immediate fix I could do to prevent any collapse or further sagging. The truck driver who brought it to my property caught a ditch and had the trailer nearly 45 degrees to the side… I like to think the supports prevented collapse or other damage.
No orange in bath why not white or green?..the red in bedroom ..no!..off white or white would be lovely .. beautiful floors!!!!!lots of work!!!!!I'm fainting thinking about it😢
It will most likely remain on my property. I just moved out of it and into a larger manufactured home I pulled in. It will be guest quarters now 😊 That being said, if I was given an offer I couldn’t refuse 😅
Which one, the bathroom sink? I’ve since done some porcelain repair and scrubbed all the calcium out of it so it’s a little better. But if I came across one that’s the same, I’d gladly trade it out.
Those are super cool! But if I remember right, we didn’t like the layout of the interior of those so stuck with something that was the most functional.

I wonder if it was an airstream model. They were silver and rounded.
Love that trailer. It looks a lot like the first one my husband and I rented when he was a Pvt in the Army and we had just gotten married.

It is a lot of work but it is a feeling of accomplishment when you are done. Looks nice.

You guys did a great job restoring it, it looks great . I love it .
Thank you so much. It is now my primary living space (along with a couple other trailers I use for aux space!)

Beautiful! 🙂👍
I’d love to find a few of these near me to restore. Maybe even use them as Airbnb
Nice job! I really like how you modernized the mechanicals and interior while staying true to the classic style.
BTW, "Vanishing Point" is one of my favorite movies, and as a result have always wanted to visit Goldfield.
Thank you! Goldfield is a very neat place!

Nice good work!
Looks wonderful!!! Please don't touch green tile in bathroom it's beautiful!!& Kitchen &;woods fine so cute not ugly!!!!
It will need to be replaced soon. It is getting worse as it is used. But you can bet I’ll be doing my best to find the closest replacement to match it!
Wow i love it .
Awesome!
Nice
Nice job. I have an early liberty as well. I'm missing a few things like one or two exterior lights. Curious as to where you source replacements
I did not source much of anything that was very specific. There were a few vintage trailer supply websites I used. Don’t remember them off hand. Would love to see pictures of yours!
Very nice
We have one as well
Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Very nice!
The trailer is beautiful. Do you plan to sell it or use it?
Thought you said its off to a new home yet you plan repairs and uodos for the future
Its perfect as is....
You did well
if it isn't broken
Don't fix it...
I love it I want to live in it
I’ve been living in it full time in the last year. I love it! Life is simple when there isn’t much to clean 😊
Need to store it under a shed.
Black and silver would have been awesome.
That would have been awesome! Being in the desert though, too much heat! That’s another reason we went lighter colors.
Nice place.😊😂😅
The marks give it character.
I would change the red paint to another color and restrain the cabinets,I Love the Old Gas Stove
Why not a white frig to match?
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
What makes it bow out to begin with?

Do you want to do another one? My cousin is selling one
Maybe if you’re local. Trust me, I don’t pay much 😅
I owned one in 1982 before marriage
Use lime away on the sinl
Nice too bad you did not change the sink
Which one, the bathroom sink? I’ve since done some porcelain repair and scrubbed all the calcium out of it so it’s a little better. But if I came across one that’s the same, I’d gladly trade it out.
A 50's style mini fridge and microwave (Galanz)would have been ideal!
Those are super cool! But if I remember right, we didn’t like the layout of the interior of those so stuck with something that was the most functional.
Don’t like the red bedroom color!
The walls in that back bedroom are ugly…need to be painted white!
