Michele, hope your ankle heals quickly. I know what you mean now that we’re older things take longer to heal. If your ankle is still bothering you take advantage of the service at the airport they will take you through start to end in wheelchair. And I’m sure they can assist you on the cruise. But I’m sure with some icing & rest your ankle will be fine. I love how Ms Butters daycare always does extra cute things for the parents. 😊❤️

Hi, what a bummer about your ankle. I'd advise practicing walking with a cane. It could come in handy on the cruise. I loved the cream dress without the belt. Just simple and elegant. Have you thought about a scarf to change it up? Hermes are always nice. That dress could be a great versatile one for the cruise.

I'm 52 yrs old, still having a period every 28-30 days. Which at this point in life I wish they'd stop. BUT.... I'm not looking forward to what happens once they do.

The dress with no belt was the way to go, you looked so pretty in it! Sorry about your injuries but as we age it does seem to be a concern. I was up just out in Vegas visiting my daughter and went on many hikes and at 61 they are getting harder and no not so easy to keep up with her 33 year old bodybuilder self. The hikes out there are just amazing and we went to the hot springs down near the Arizona border that had repelling involved and I thought I would need to be helicoptered out of there! Lol and of course the red rocks are always a must as the views are spectacular. Hope you mend quickly as I can’t wait to see your vlogs from your upcoming cruise❤️

Just a tip for night sweats. Leave on your night table a few night gowns or t-shirts, what ever you normally sleep in. When you wake toss your nightly, put on the extra and back to sleep. Trying to dry down can keep you awake. 😊
This is EXACTLY what my mother told me verbatim. 😊 I'm 47 and post-hysterectomy. Waking up drenched about 2x per week. That dry top is so much nicer than trying to go back to sleep in soggy pj's!! ❤❤❤

I'm 71 years old so any lifting anywhere on my face or body would be a miracle!! LOL! I tripped on my lawn furniture a couple of years ago and sprained my ribs from the metal corner of the chair which was right before a trip to Cape Cod with my daughter and I was so bummed that I was injured but the trip turned out just fine. I had my daughter do all the heavy lifting and I had to walk slower. All the best for a speedy recovery on your ankle!

I broke my foot in 2021, just pivoted to move a different way to catch the train to work and POP! I was 58 then, and it still bothers me. Go to the dr if you need too and do any physical therapy to heal, you wont regret it. As always, thank you ~ you're such a delight and you take care of yourself and have a wonderful day

I tripped a year ago in London walking on the cobblestones in the rain. My ribs hurt really bad for about 2 months. That brunch looked delicious!

Oh Michele! I’m so sorry you got hurt! I hope you heal up quickly and are good for the cruise and excursions. Butters didn’t mean it of course, she was just excited. A couple of years ago my neighbor’s golden doodle ran pell-mell into the back of my knee and caused me to fall into landscaping rocks. I wasn’t seriously hurt but I was bloody and bruised.😅

Well, this was great. Sorry about your ankle but all the rest. I loved both outfits, btw. Thought the dress looked good both with and without the belt. Hope your leg is feeling much better! You may want to try the Lisa Eldridge T6. I am slightly more fair than you i would say and it is perfect! I know people have mentioned shades covering a pretty wide range of complexions.
On hotflashes, this is what worked for me. I always got up, drank about 12 oz of iced water (rapidly). as soon as I stopped heating up, I changed my night gown, and put a spare pillow with a spare pillowcase on my bed. I also always peeled back all the covers , when I got up. That way the bed woud cool. Also, I stopped wearing white nightgowns. That sweat, stains. It helped with the overall ick. As for getting up, I was already awake and found doing these thing helped me get back to sleep sooner. Hope this is useful.
You should come visit Chicago and its terrible traffic between construction snow, ice, etc it's awful ! Two seasons we say....winter and construction
Oh no! So sorry to hear about your foot. I fell while travelling when I was in Barcelona. I was looking at my phone for directions and then in front of a restaurant I stepped in the wrong way on the pavement and fell. It turns out I actually broke something so for several months I had problems walking and then I got problems with my other foot cos I was trying to compensate and so the injury shifted from one foot to the other for ages. Take care everyone!! No phonelooking when walking!

I am not sure but the 'hockey puck' you got from the doggy day care might be for the shower. I have not used one but I see them on social media. They come in various scents and you place them on the shower floor while showering and they are supposed to make your shower feel like a spa. Then again, I could be wrong. Sorry about the ankle. Glad you had a good Mother's Day outings.

Yes the hot flashes and sleepless nights are awful. I turned 55 now & I’ve been going through it on& off since age 48.
Not sure if you’re interested but I used a red clover plus during my peri-menopause time. It has a mild diuretic and mild laxative and red clover that acts as an estrogen normalizer. It helped immensely with hot flashes and “nerve flashes” and temperament swings. I also used St Johns Wort. That seemed to help with mood swings as well.
Arnica helps with bruising. Calendula also helps with scrapes, burns and bruises. I try to stay away from antibiotics in creams and ointments but hypochlorite sprays (Tower 28) disinfects wound sites and Vaseline is a great sealant. Gentle healing does speed things up if you are of a certain age. I wasn’t a klutz until “that certain age”. I kind of had to tweak my First Aid kit because of the “stupid little things” that kept happening. Hope this helps.

Since you live in a dry climate, polyglutamic or beta-glucan might be better than hyaluronic, since the latter will pull moisture from your skin if there isn’t any in the environment.
