I feel the same way about my grandfather... There are so many questions I have (now) that I didn't really care about as a child. Hopefully other people can learn from this! Regarding the pick ups... Nice finds! These things are definitely getting scarce!
I think we all have good hindsight. One memory I have is making a semi-adult joke at a holiday dinner as teenager and making my grandfather laugh. Being able to connect with him as more than just a tiny, jumpy kid would have been great. It just took to long to reach that level of maturity before he died. I did learn from his experience that you have to find motivation in old age; otherwise, you wither. I feel like I'm withering now though.

Usually if there is a trailer for a game, I throw it in since it will have some spicy moments.
I definitely recommend checking them out just for the scary alternate history--what could have been if the Nazis won the arms race.
