This was a touchdown rack wow. Jerry wins, especially given the ridiculous condition. Can’t argue with the volume of great cards though!

First of all you did not get a BIG hit. You got THEE biggest and most expensive card in the entire set in jerry rice. A BIG Hit would have been reggie white, william perry, or bruce smith. I don't even think steve young is a big hit so if you had gotten steve young and didn't say he was 1 of the 2 biggest hits of the set, you would make me think that the card cannot fetch a grade of 7 or 8. By the way william perry is a very interesting card in this set. You have to know these things to really entice people to make it more interesting. I haven't done any research on the william perry card of this set too much, but it seems that it might be a card that is on one of the corners or ends of the big sheets before they are cut. It might be why a psa 10 in william perry has a lot of value, maybe it's similar to how thurman munson is in 1971 topps? That card is always off centered because the card is on the ends of the entire sheet before it's cut.
It's fun to get excited about howie long in this set, anthony carter, and lynn dickey, but i can't believe you just let anthony munoz and jackie slater sit in the pile like that. Jackie slater is a hall of fame offensive tackle, one of THEE best ever but his card here is a common, but so is howie long. So you don't like the rams? you also toss aside rams card with eric dickerson on it but put it the bengals of boomer esiason and oilers of warren moon? That's fine you don't like the rams, but you must acknowledge the cards and the players. Anthony munoz is another very underrated hall of famer who also has a very interesting value in a psa in this set. Do you check the psa website? Do you know about population counts? Do you type in the cards in ebay to see how much they've gone up for sale? Do you check recenty sales? Before you send in the card thinking you might be able to get a psa 10, do you check to see how many psa 10s are currently in existence to gauge whether or not you might get a psa 10? Do you even have a jewelers tool called a loupe to look at the surfaces of the card and edges to see if you have a chance of a 9 or 10? It's fun getting the jerry rice card but i know you are way better than this. I have been watching your channel for a while now and you are always good on and near spot on with the grades you expect from psa when getting it back. Why would you not examine the card while in this video to really think if you have a chance of a psa 8? 9? 10? You basically sat on the fact that you were able to pull the card and doing nothing else to check it. You gotta look way more closely at it, look at the backs. So it's a little off center to the upper left hand corner so you think it's an 8? Take the card back out of the holder to examine it more closely before you send it off to psa, and make a video on that card only. 5 or 10 minute video would be good.
Another underrated guy who is part of this set is jay hilgenberg. Not many centers in the nfl have value on their cards Do you even know who he is? Not many centers in the nfl have value on their cards. You tossing away anthony munoz in the pile like that makes me think otherwise. I believe you're in reno now? And you grew up in the bay area with the a's? giants? 49ers? raiders? But this kind of set is extremely unique and you have to know all the cards. Look up the jay hilgenberg card it's very interesting, yes it's his rookie but this set is popular from the 85 bears. A lot of their players are in this set and has value. I appreciate you putting up the mike quick card because you think it's a psa 10, that card can be compared to see if you might have a chance at others with way more value. Do you feel embarrassed if you pull top cards from the set and realize it probably isn't a psa 9 or 10 so you just talk about how nice the card is and that he's a hall of famer? I see you do this with baseball a lot. Pulling cards that are basically commons but you put them on the holder to showcase them.
I know you checked to see that anthony munoz is not a rookie card when you looked on the back but his card is almost and maybe just as good as the dan marino card in this set.
walter payton is a big hit. It's not one of the biggest hits in the set but it's a big hit. Why do you always put spoilers in the title of your videos? Every time i see a title that doesn't show that you hit anything, tells me that you're not going to get anything good. I still like watching the videos but i would suggest you not put any spoilers in your videos, but it's your show and you can do as you please.
i agree with you that freeman mcneil was good. He's a common but glad you knew about him. However leroy irvin was very good on the rams too, and that went in the pile. Again i know you said you didn't like the rams but still you gotta be consistent instead of being a bay area homer.
joe montana is obviously good in this set but you didn't mention reggie white and bruce smith in this set. 1 pack of these cards currently go for $99 on baseball card exchange so that rack pack was probably what? $400 worth?
Jackie Slater is one of the best offensive linemen of all time, and he played 20 years in the NFL with 1 team! unheard of for a player at his position. I know you don't really know as much about football because you mentioned it, but this 1986 topps football set is awesome!
