I started using it during the first lockdown and am addicted! I find using the Buff brush makes a full finish and the Blush/Bronzer lighter. You look like Kate Middleton BTW, so pretty!
I’m really liking it as well. And thanks for the Kate Middleton compliment… I have heard that before. :)
Agree! I was trying to think who she reminded me of. Very pretty.
You do look like Kate Middleton!!!!
Goodness she does look like Duchess Kate!
I didn’t realize who it was that she resembled! I couldn’t think of it so I just stopped trying to find out lol
I found your channel researching St. Thank you for the genuine and honest reviews, including a follow-up. Finally a real person, applying makeup on real skin! Thank you!
You are very welcome. :) I'm glad you enjoyed it and hope you found my thoughts on the product useful!
Perfectly honest review! Seint Artist 2 months now and I LOVE it and it def has its pros and cons!
I'm so glad you liked the review, thanks for watching! And totally agree that there are pros and cons (just like any other company and their product line), but I really do like this stuff. :)
Hi Mary!
Love this video! I want to help with your contour situation. The icon color you have is actually a foundation ( highlight shade) color and is why it’s a different consistency. The contours are a more stiff texture so it will stay put! I love using the detail brush for perfect placement and find that it blends it out much better too!
I am a SEINT artist and while I do like the IIID method for my lighter coverage days, I still love to apply everything in a more traditional way for a fuller coverage look and still find its skin like!
As far as the under eye goes… we do have a newer shade called Versailles that has a pink undertone and is beautiful for that under eye brightening effect! But I do recommend color correcting any dark areas before applying any of those lighter shades!
Keep up the great work! Love your honest videos!
Thanks for the tips! That totally makes sense regarding the difference in consistency/texture between icon and olive. And I was wondering if that Versailles color was the golden ticket, I’ll have to give it a try. Thanks!!! :)
Are the tins not identified with any kind of markings?
I also wonder if something like demi 03 would work better for covering blue/grey undereye?
Just started using Seint this month and love it--amazingly, I find the contour to be the easiest:-). Use the flat end of the contour brush and tap it hard a couple times at a 45 degree angle into the palette, then dab (not buff or stroke) it on an angle from the area on your face at the level top of your ear down cheek to about mid eye. Then flick up to blend. Works perfectly! I'm having a good time experimenting--have fun!
I’ll have to give that technique a try- thanks for the tip! :)
I am so excited to try this! I just ordered my first palette. I am excited how this looks so natural and skin like
I have to say...I still really like it. I just used mine this morning. I too really like the natural look it can create. :)
Thank you so much for this honest re-review! I just found your page & initial review yesterday when I was debating on ordering Seint or not. I have been following an artist on Instagram & was able to get a color match. I followed her recommendations on what to get & I ordered everything today after seeing your pros & cons. I was so happy to find your channel. I'm sitting here nodding & laughing with you! And I totally agree about taking notes. If I don't write it down, most likely I'll forget something. Thank you for being so open & honest. P.S. you don't look over 30, much less 40! 😊
I'm so glad that you found the review helpful. I debated forever before actually purchasing this product and I too was looking for honest reviews from people that weren't selling it since I didn't know anyone personally that had it. I was happy and relieved that once I finally tried it, I actually like it. :) And yes, taking notes is a lifesaver...I'm also a list maker because to your point if I don't write it down I may forget it!! lol Thanks so much for the lovely comment and I hope you have an amazing day! :)
I love SEINT! I used it for a year before I just signed up as an artist and this is a great and honest review! Thank you for your transparency.
Henna and Olive are different consistency's for me too! Olive is thick/drier than the others. But I can make it work when I want to!
I'm so glad you liked the review, I really do like the product. I've been trying some different techniques to get Olive to work for me (mainly warming it a bit) and then it does work better. :)
This is the best review I’ve ever seen! You answered all my questions without me asking
Glad you liked it! :)
Thank you for the unbiased review of Seint products. I've been thinking about buying a starter pallet and now I am going to go for it.
You bet! It took me a while to finally take the plunge on trying it out, but I'm glad I did, I really like it.
And if you decide it just isn't for you, I think they have a money back guarantee.
Thank you so much…. You really have so much great info. You look beautiful and look like Kate Middleton 🙏🏻
Thank you! 😊
I'm using Seint, and I'm almost 70.
I was taught demi colors for concealing blue purple under eyes. Based on color wheel science. Recently it was suggested main highlight colors also.
Let the creams warm up on your skin and gently stipple color placement. A new technique for me.
Yes, I have found that when I'm in a rush to get it on I have to work the product a bit more, but it does warm up nicely. And in the summer months it tends to go on smooth and easy... probably because my house is warmer. I have to say, I really do like this product for areas where I experience creasing. It tends to sit nicer and not create those product crease lines. :)
I also loved the IT byby under eye. But have you tried Saint Demi? Game changer! I have very dark under eyes and Demi color corrects better than anything I have ever tried!
Yes! There is one Demi color that I really like. It is a pinky/orange color.
Hey Mary!! Icon is actually a highlight/foundation and not a contour - the contours are so much thicker than the highlights, and that’s why it’s so much easier to use olive (contour) vs. icon (highlight)!
Also-I too had awful trouble with finding a color to offset the blueness of my under eyes. I found the trick though that TOTALLY works! I take just a little bit of the lip and cheek frenchie and pop it under my eyes where that blue/purple ness is and it color corrects. After putting that on I just use the regular lighter concealer color and it works like a charm! Hope that’s helpful 🤍
These are such great tips! I had no idea that Icon and Olive had a different formulation (LOL), so it makes total sense that they would behave differently during application and wear. Thank you so much for the advice! :)
Excellent advise Libery ! Colorcorecting is key as we have many different undertones ,not just the one or two used to determine the shade of foundation we will use in traditional makeup. All 2 often the peach, orange, and red are used when Y01, in demi or even Frenchie in lip & Cheek can do the trick. As a mature woman, I never use our Seint Highlite ( aka Foundation under the eye area) i stick to Demi with it wax base and extraordinary pigment to disguise my dark circles, and bring foward the hollows under my eyes. While Seint nor Demi will correct 3 dimensional distractions in our faces they do provide the most beautiful, polished but still natural look I have found to date in both High-end & Drugstore makeup.
I have an Arsenal of both, and FINALLY found a mature persons HOLY GRAIL, skin flattering makeup.
Thanks 4 ur input❤
I am surprised your artist did not recommend one of the Demi colors. I can’t remember exactly which one it is, but there is a very nice Demi that has a tad bit of pink that works so much better than any concealer we could ever use under our eyes.
I'm not sure if they had the Demi line when I ordered these, but I have since given it a try. And you are right, there are a few pink toned concealers that work great on the undereye. :)
I just purchased the system today, so glad to find this review.
I'm so glad you found it helpful! :)
Warm your contour a little with your blow dryer...then it will be easier to load your brush and then blend I find that works
Haven't tried that yet...I'll have to give it a go! :)
Have you tried Seint’s Palace highlight? It’s a lovely light pinkish shade that may solve your undereye issue. Also the right demi may solve your undereye distraction.
I too find my (Ash and Astoria) contours’ consistency differs. Astoria is much firmer.
I haven't tried that one, I should look into it. I do like the consistency of the highlights, but I just struggle with the darn contour. It was just too dry and thick. I'm about to place another order soon (I have a few faves that I continually repurchase) and I like to try a couple new things while I'm at it. Thanks for the tip! :)
I am just investigating this brand and I found that the channel Mature Makeup Masterclass is helping. Demi color is possibly the color correcting item that may help on the under eyes. I have a deep purple vein 'thumbprint size birthmark' on one side of my nose that I think may be helped by the color theory of the demi color system.
Thank you so much for suggesting that channel! I just popped over there and she has A LOT of really great videos on not only the Seint products but also general beauty tips and tricks. I am thinking of giving the Demi color a try, at least for my undereyes. I really like the staying power of the creme products, if I can just find that perfect pinky beige I'd be all set! :)
I finally ordered the Demi and gave it a try. Still figuring it out (I feel kinda lost at times LOL), and posted a first impression video. Still on the fence if I'm going to keep or return them, but I'm really trying to give it a go. :)
As far as the under eye darkness goes i was using mango as under eye concealer but it wasnt working for me. My artist said for BAD under eye darkness try the lip and cheek color Frenchie as an under eye concealer. It has that pinky peach tone that conceals dark spots well. Been using it ever since.
I am sooooo glad you commented this!!! I never even thought about using one of the cheek colors for my undereye...but what luck! - my most recent purchase was the lip/cheek color Frenchie. I will give this a try! Thank you for the awesome tip!
Try the demi! It’s a color corrector. Try green yellow 1 or yellow orange 1 under eye. They’re truly amazing
I finally ordered the Demi and gave it a try. Still figuring it out (I feel kinda lost at times LOL), and posted a first impression video. Still on the fence if I'm going to keep or return them, but I'm really trying to give it a go. :)
I found Mature Makeup Masterclass. She has a video using the Demi shades for color correcting. Especially with the undereye and for people that have rosacea.
I’ll have to check it out, thanks! I subscribe to her channel so I know exactly who you are talking about. :)
Same! I found Mature Makeup Masterclass first, then tried Seint after watching all her videos. Had Michelle color match me, and she gave me several Demi colors for under eye and around my nose, etc. I love the Demi! I'm 67, and the Demi under my eyes creases very minimally, if at all. I had quite a learning curve with Seint, almost gave up. But then I found the right combination of moisturizer and sunscreen underneath that works beautifully with the Seint. I appreciated your video very much!
Oh, also. I love Trinny London, and I'm finding that Seint and Trinny London play very well together!
The reason you do not like the contour is because one is a contour and one is a bronzer. They are different and have a different consistency. I saw this explained on a video. Bronzer is warmer and contour typically cool. Hope that helps.
So good to know! I had no idea that was the case. It definitely explains it!!
You look like Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge❣️
Aw, thank you! I definitely hear that a lot! :)
Exactly what I was thinking but didn't pin it exactly!
OMG you totally do!! Very pretty!
Try the Demi!! I think that's your answer to finding a substitute for bye bye undereye👍🏻
Yes, I will have to give it a try. That line intimidates me, but I've heard there are a few pink colors that could work. Thanks for the advice!! :)
Thanks for the honest positive review on this brand! It's nice to hear this rather than others bashing the products and making fun of this company. Thanks gorgeous!! ❤️
Absolutely! I honestly don't know enough about the company and how it runs...I really just wanted to focus on the product. And just like any product line there are pros and cons, but overall it has earned a place on my vanity. I really do like it!
Thank you! Great video. Super interested in trying out Seint products. Have you used CC foundation with Seint makeup?
Yes, I have used the It Cosmetics CC foundation and then layered the Seint bronzer and blush on top. It worked well, in my opinion. :) The one thing I would NOT recommend is using a powder foundation and then layering the Seint products on top...the formulas don't mix well and it comes out really cakey. :)
I use a little bit of Frenchie blush and my concealer/highlight shade to hide my purple/blue circles. Definitely try works like a charm. Especially because Frenchie small tin is $10 right now.
I have Frenchie and will have to try mixing a bit with my lighter concealer... when I tried just using Frenchie full strength under the lighter concealer it didn't work well...but I didn't think of just mixing it in a bit. Great tip, I'll give it a try!! :)
I have the products in a cart to purchase. Trying to get my total under $300 and I cant. Do you use the finishing spray? How about the brush cleaner??
I don’t have their finish spray or brush cleaner. In general I don’t use finishing spray and I already have a ton of brush cleaner on hand (and have even used dawn dish soap or gentle body wash). Hope that helps!
Hey …… I love your honesty!!!! I have been an artist with Seint for 2 years now! And I’m obsessed! I would try our lip/cheeks Frenchie for a colour corrector. Or look into out Demi!!!!!!! It’s amazing tooo !!!!!!
I definitely need to check out the demi line. I'm sure an undereye color that I'm looking for would be there!
I finally ordered the Demi and gave it a try. Still figuring it out (I feel kinda lost at times LOL), and posted a first impression video. Still on the fence if I'm going to keep or return them, but I'm really trying to give it a go. :)
I use olive for contour as well.. it is definitely much different in consistency vs the highlight shades. I really have to pounce in at a 45 degree angle with the detail brush to load for application. When applying to face I never buff in contour, only press, and slowly work and blend upward so then when I apply blush, they meet and meld. The Seint detail brush was the game changer for me for contour.
I was wondering if that particular brush would be helpful... it looks like the perfect size and angle for the job.
Yes the detail brush is the game changer for the contour!! Also for the under eye you mentioned you may look at the color correction videos from the contoured chemist very helpful!!
I would check out The Contoured Chemist. She does a lot for mature skin but also all the issues you mentioned she has videos about.
I'll have to head back over to her channel. I have watched in the past to see her swatch products and found it helpful. I'll have to see what her recommendation is for the contour application....I swear I struggle the most with that one. Thanks! :)
Have you tried the shadows and if so, what do you think ?
Avery little drop of serum I use younique up lift oil that will make consistency of olive I used to be an artist ... So to speak, I agree that not all are "" artists" anyway
Great tip, I'll have to give it a try! :)
Hello! New subscriber! Thanks for your honest opinion from a non artist perspective. I am going to give this makeup another chance but that was totally my experience with the olive contour as well! It just sits there and doesn't blend well. And, yes! I have noticed that it looks better a while after application.
I totally agree with your comment that it looks better a while after application. I have found myself coming back :45 minutes after applying and it looks better, 'more glowy' and then I re-blend where needed. Guessing that my skin warms it up and makes it more blendable. That is a great tip, thank you!! :)
Thank you for this video. Have been on the fence about buying Seint for about a month now. Regarding your Bye Bye Undereye...could you not find a color to match in their demi collection?
I actually just got a color match for Demi last week. Still haven’t purchased it yet to know for sure if it is the right color and how I like it. Once I do get it and try it out, I’ll post an update here. I’m very hopeful that Demi will have the perfect color. I tried using Frenchie , as others had suggested, due to the pink tones being needed… but it turned out awful! 😂 lol. Oh well. Fingers crossed on Demi. :)
I finally ordered the Demi and gave it a try. Still figuring it out (I feel kinda lost at times LOL), and posted a first impression video. Still on the fence if I'm going to keep or return them, but I'm really trying to give it a go. :)
@@MaryZeti Oh good! I will go check it out! I still have not pulled the trigger on Seint. I have my cart open and looking at me every morning.
I ordered this makeup but, ended up sending it back. For one it's hard enough to get the right shade match in person. It was to light on me and second it's made with petroleum jelly so I felt like my skin couldn't breathe.
I totally get it. You definitely have to go with what feels best on your skin. And yes, I agree, getting a perfect match with a product that you can't see or feel in person is tough.
Thank you. I love this product and I am becoming an Artist. I have had a tough time with the mask though. Your video was so informative. Thank you again
Glad it was helpful!
I feel like this was already answered, but Icon is a highlight color, that’s why it has a different consistency. You could try Tanlines bronzer as contour shade as it will have a closet consistency to Icon & will have a similar tone to Olive.
A couple people have mentioned that they are different foumulations - and for a reason. I really appreciated the feedback though because I had no idea why they were performing differently. I haven't looked at the Seint bronzers, but I'll have to check them out. Any way that I can minimize the number of products that I carry with me on a trip the better. :)
What is the transfer like on this makeup? I like the look of face makeup/foundation but i hate how it transfers onto things (like my paperwork at work! Lol) when i touch my face and then touch something. Especially in the summer when you're sweating more
It has less transfer that my other liquid foundations (such as it cosmetics cc foundation) for sure. I always wear turtle necks in the winter and like to wear white so I know what you mean about transfer being a real concern. To be honest, I haven't found a foundation that has zero transfer, but this one is definitely on the low transfer end of the spectrum. I haven't used revlon colorstay in years, but when I did I recall that one was also very low transfer as well.
Oh, and Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation, that one also has low transfer, in my opinion. And if you find one that is completely zero transfer, please let me know...I would be so very interested as well! ;)
What about your skin. Is it dry or oily. I have oily skin and I would feel like this maybe wouldn’t be best for some one with oily skin and summers coming. Heat and cream foundation lol
I currently have combination skin, but in the past definitely had oily. To be honest, thinking back on my experience with oily skin I would probably pass on these cream products. I will say they do dry down/set nicely but if you are really oily they may perform differently or just be uncomfortable feeling to wear. Others may say differently, but that’s my opinion. :)
Thanks for the honest response. I feel that maybe I would hate it in the summer for me. Maybe it’s something I’ll try in the fall
Great review! Happy Holidays Mary!
You bet, Happy Holidays to you too!! :)
Contours can be harder textures- you can heat it for a very short time with a blow dryer….and it’s softer and easier to apply. And for the under eye con….contact your representative and tell them what color your under eyes are…..specific contours are better coverage depending on colors. Blue/purple versus reddish or dark colors. It can be amazing how well the right color works.
Yeah, I'll have to reach out to her for a color match with the under eye stuff. I'm sure there is something available. A few people have also suggested the Demi line as well.
For blue (dark) under your eye, you need to use Frenchy under the eye and then go over it lightly with your main highlight. For some reason for dark skin under your eye you need to go with a darker color first. It will hide it well then. Good luck.
Thanks for the tip! I do have the Frenchy color and while I tried it under my eyes, it still looked a bit off. It did, however, work very well for color correcting my melasma. In the past I would even resort to using a pink lip liner to color correct, but this summer I'll try using Frenchy. (my melasma isn't that noticeable in the winter, but come summer time it really darkens up). Thanks for the great tip!! :)
I finally ordered the Demi and gave it a try. Still figuring it out (I feel kinda lost at times LOL), and posted a first impression video. Still on the fence if I'm going to keep or return them, but I'm really trying to give it a go. :)
Have you thought about color correcting the under eye where with Demi where you said you have blueie purple going on, setting it with setting powder and then hitting it with your brightener color that you use under your eyes to see if that would work? I love color correcting with Demi colors.
I have considered it, but have yet to really commit to making the purchase. :) I think I just need to decide on a color to try and go for it. I'm sure there is something that will work! :)
I finally ordered the Demi and gave it a try. Still figuring it out (I feel kinda lost at times LOL), and posted a first impression video. Still on the fence if I'm going to keep or return them, but I'm really trying to give it a go. :)
watch the Contoured Chemist, shes great. She has lots of 3D foundation videos. There is a learning curve. I wish there wasn't because I would love to share with my friends and it's too difficult. Another con: there is no local "artist" (which i use lightly because saying you are an artist because you bought a kit is annoying...) that do demonstrations in person....I miss visits to the makeup counter, another con: I think it's a bit expensive at $14 per tin-should be like $10.00, and i wish it wasn't a MLM Pyramid selling company. I don't like supporting those any longer.
I have watched the contoured chemist- especially for seeing swatches. Always helpful to see them in action. I find I watch a ton of instagram stories and UA-cam videos on this product- great to see it in action. :)
I agree..I'm not thrilled how this is...I'm still practicing..I find it to look heavy and chalky on me and I'm using very little.
@@biankarico359 you probably have the wrong shade then. Try going one shade darker
Me too! Mine looks chalky and gives a flaky appearance....
What kind of coverage do their products give? Light or full? Or something else? Also I love to it video and vibes :)
How do these compare to RCMA or Ben Nye? Also, you have to buy from a consultant, does that make this company an MLM?
I’ve never tried RCMA or Ben Nye, but a few other people have said that the love Ben Nye better than Seint. I believe you can purchase directly from Seint on their website, you don’t have to go through a consultant. As for the mlm thing, I’m not super sure what defines one… but this company does have consultants, uplines, commission based sales and they can recruit new members under them- so I would say yes it is… and I know I’ve seen others refer to it as that. Hope that helps!! :)
Hello, what colors is in your compact?
Hey Mary, Thanks for your video. From someone who has never worn makeup, I’m wanting to try Seint. Any feedback/opinion on a sunscreen under the makeup? Or does the makeup have an spf already? Thanks so much!
The makeup does not have an SPF, which really is a con, in my opinion. I have melasma that darkens almost instantly when I go out in the sun so a high SPF is a must for me. What I do is apply my SPF in the morning and then I give it a good :15 to really dry down before applying the make up. I find that works best. I like Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen SPF 70 or even the Sun Bum mineral sunscreen. They both work well, are affordable and you can find them at the drugstore or Target. :)
A great thing about Seint is they don’t tell you not to use others. It’s all about a beautiful makeup and not about competition.
I really, really like that aspect of it. I mean even before trying this product I used a bunch of different brands (and still do). So it was nice to even see some of the artists show how they use different setting powders, eyeliners and just other products overall in conjunction with their cream Seint items.
This is what sold me 😊 I’m a Seint artist but have so many other brands I love to include in my routine
Wait you can’t just order online on the website it has to be through another person?? I’m so confused by this… is it like Avon mk makeup??
I believe that you actually can order directly from the website (I just didn't know that at the time of the filming of this). Sorry for any confusion. :)
Love your review! I purchased for the first time and still trying to learn how to use it. So far I am loving it. Have you looked at Seint’s Demi line for your Bye Bye under eye shade?
Glad you liked the review. :) I never even thought of the Demi line for my undereye color, thanks for the suggestion I'll have to check it out!
Demi is LIFE! I just love how once you learn to apply it, it looks like you have something done.
I finally ordered the Demi and gave it a try. Still figuring it out (I feel kinda lost at times LOL), and posted a first impression video. Still on the fence if I'm going to keep or return them, but I'm really trying to give it a go. :)
Have you tried Demi for your undereyes??
I just ordered it about a month ago, and while I think I have found the correct color, the consistency is different so I'm still figuring it out. :)
How does this perform on dry skin? I use retinol so I’ve gotten pretty dry and find that my current makeup looks very textured because of it. Never tried cream products before
That is a great question and I honestly am unsure. I will say that it does have a creamy consistency so I wouldn't expect it to dry you out more. I would suggest making sure to use a good moisturizer before application, let it soak in and settle down, then give it a go. And also give it a little time after initial application...I find that this product warms up on the skin about :30 minutes after initial application and it feels and looks even better than when I first put it on. Good luck! :)
Check out Mature Makeup Masterclass here on UA-cam. Michelle Spieler is a fellow dry skin person / artist. Just ordered through her (although I didn’t wait for her to color match me, so I’m nervous I ordered the wrong highlights. But anyways… fingers crossed!).
You’re videos are amazing 🤩
Aw, thank you so much!!! I really do appreciate your kind words. :)
Try Frenchie under the under eye highlight to cover that darkness.
Great tip, I will have to give that a try! Those darn dark circles are a real pain, but yes, possibly the pink in Frenchie is the way to go.
Have you tried the highlight versailles for your under eye?
It’s like the shade Linen but more pink!
I haven't tried that one yet, but it is on my list for sure. Do you know of anyone that has a review video with that particular color in it? I'd love to see it swatched.
@@MaryZeti I use it as my brightening highlight!
I finally ordered the Demi and gave it a try. Still figuring it out (I feel kinda lost at times LOL), and posted a first impression video. Still on the fence if I'm going to keep or return them, but I'm really trying to give it a go. :)
When u do the contour try stippling rather than brushing or rubbing it in
I’ll have to give that a try. At this point though it is kinda dried up and I may have to purchase a new one. :/
What are your thoughts on the eye shadows having Talc in it?
You know to be honest, I wasn't aware that it had talc in it or the pros/cons/risks with it. I will have to do more research, appreciate you bringing it up!
Does it settle in lines and wrinkles?
Overall it doesn't settle in and crease. The only area I have issues sometimes in my undereye, but to be fair I have that with almost all products. And it isn't very noticeable at all.... I just give it a little pat and it is all better.
So the color Icon is a highlight, not a contour. That’s why the texture is different then Olive, which is a true contour. The contour formula is a stiffer formula. Does that make sense?
Yes, thank you. Someone else also pointed that out and I honestly had no idea! It makes total sense now though. :)
Sorry if you mentioned it, but what color is the blush?
The one that I’m wearing and shown in the palette is Frenchie. ;)
@@MaryZeti ok thanks so much!😊Can you tell me the brightner shade they matched you with?
Hey icon is not a contour it’s a highlight that’s why it’s different from olive! I have heard of some use icon for a bronzer instead of our other bronzers!
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I had no idea that they were different formulations...and meant to be that way. Totally makes sense why they perform differently. :)
I love the IT cosmetics... Im In Australia - so I cant get the Seint products. (Albeit Im trying) but the Bye Bye undereye it makes my creases under my eyes way more prominant... Is there a technique you use to minimise that?? Ta
Do you think it is the color or the product? When I use a beige color it makes my dark areas and creases appear more prominent. However, using one with a slight pink tint works much better for me. I don't use any setting powder, but I have heard that can help minimize creasing. Or even a setting spray without the setting powder is something you could try. There is a technique that I've seen on TikTok that I've been eager to try (setting spray) and I'll make a video on it with comparisons. To be honest, sometimes I still struggle with the undereye creases.
I used this when it came out in 2017 I only remember because that’s when my son was born lol! When it was maskcara! I wanted to love it because the convenience as a mom and travel! I bought more stuff just yesterday and three days ago to try it again! I wanted to love it so much that I became an artist so I could get the discount and still paid the $10 a month and then finally about a year ago I quit paying for it because I just couldn’t afford to get anything and pay the shipping! I tried new applications and I am hopeful! I want to love it! I’ll be back to let you know! Lol 😝
Yes! Please let me know what you think! It took me a long while to give this product line a try but I'm honestly really glad I did. Even with the kinks that I need to work through I do like it a lot. :)
Have you tried the Demi color correct? Sold with Seint
Not yet, but I did finally get a color match and am ordering this week! I'm excited to try it out and come back with a review on it. :)
I finally ordered the Demi and gave it a try. Still figuring it out (I feel kinda lost at times LOL), and posted a first impression video. Still on the fence if I'm going to keep or return them, but I'm really trying to give it a go. :)
Maybe that olive color just has too much pigment in it for your skin tone. I am getting ready to place my first order to try it!
I've heard from a few others that Olive is one of the brands contour colors, while Icon is actually a highlight/foundation color....so they have different formulation and perform differently. I really love the color of Olive, but yes, it has a lot of pigment and a different consistency that I struggle with. Good luck with your purchase and hope you have fun playing with the product!! :)
Olive is super thick! I just got it and I wish it was creamier.
Agreed, seriously so cakey.
Olive is chalkier than the other contours! Try a different color...I'm new but discovered that immediately!
I love the olive color, but yeah that consistency is just so tough for me to work with. Maybe I'll try a different color. Or someone else even suggested trying a highlight color, but just pick a dark one (vs. a contour color).
Is that for oily skin or dry skin?
I've heard you can use it on any skin type, but I'm not certain. I have normal/acne prone skin and I have found that it works well. It does dry down nicely so if you have oily skin I really don't think that it would add to the shine.
Such a good review!
Thank you so much, I hope you found it helpful!! :)
I use taffy for under eye. Frenchie is too orange for me. Taffy is a little pink,
Oh, yeah, I bet Taffy would work well. Sometimes I need a little orange in mine, but that pink in Taffy looks really nice too!!
I believe the Demi line if Seint will solve your under eye dilemma.
I'll have to check it out.... I will admit though the Demi line intimidates me! :)
I feel like Seint has a lot of great products but I just can’t bring myself to support an mlm. Even just looking at the “artists” social media pages makes me a bit uncomfortable.
totally understand!
Try Frenchy under eyes before you use your brightener! It may be like your IT coverage!
Yes! That pinky undertone is what I really need so maybe adding a touch of that will help. :)
Is this non comedogenic?
That is an excellent question and I wish I had the answer. I'm not sure if it is and I can't find anywhere on their website where it states that. What I will say is that personally I have not experienced pore clogging breakouts from it.
Thank you
This is what stopped me from orderimg....I did not want to give either my Social Security number or my EIN number in order to register..those items are really not needed for a sale..Just assign a unique customer number like utilities do....
ohh... I didn't realize that. Good point!
Have you tried the Demi line?? It is the best for color correct/conceal. You should def. Check out Michelle Spieler’s UA-cam. She is the MASTER of Seint and Demi ❤
I haven't heard of her channel. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll have to check it out!! :)
You can also order from their website without a consultant as what I did💜
That is so very true! And a great way for people that don't want to work through a consultant. Just order like any other brand. GREAT TIP, thank you!! :)
Try Demi. Helps everyone including your problems so Demi is great from Seint .
I think I'm going to finally give it a go! :)
I finally ordered the Demi and gave it a try. Still figuring it out (I feel kinda lost at times LOL), and posted a first impression video. Still on the fence if I'm going to keep or return them, but I'm really trying to give it a go. :)
I was told to zap it with a hair dryer first
I could try that, might soften it up!
Olive is the driest contour. So the formula is slightly different.
That would explain it for sure. I really love the color, but the darn formulation is hard for me for some reason.
I recently received my first Seint product (lip and cheek color) and I HATE it . First off , it smells like cheap makeup ..like LA colors or Wet N Wild . I don’t get the hype !
I forgot about the smell - I agree, it was not what I was expecting.
@@MaryZeti Oh yikes! Waiting on my first order. I'm super sensitive to smells. What is the smell?
It isn't heavily perfumed, which is great. However, it does have a plastic/wax smell to it (in my opinion). Almost like a crayon. I'm very sensitive to smells as well and was grateful that this didn't bother me or give me a headache...but it was it was just not what I was expecting. And I only smelled it when I first opened and applied it, not as I was wearing it throughout the day.
@@MaryZeti Ah thanks so much for the reply! At least it dissipates. I'm guessing the "crayon" smell is the beeswax. I watched one of the videos from the Contoured Chemist channel that was mentioned and she talked about the tins having a beeswax coating. I did see beeswax was an ingredient in some of the tins. Loved your breakdown and I am also looking at taking this for travel, including a camping trip so it made me laugh that you mentioned that specifically! I need to pack lightly (road trip) so this fit the bill.
I think the contour is harder to keep you from using too much.
Yeah that could be...someone else mentioned that it is that consistency so it really stays where you put it.
Try watching "The Contoured Chemist" here on UA-cam. I became a Seint Artist via her. She has very detailed videos on Contouring because I had a difficult time finding my perfect shade.
I have watched hers in the past and I'll have to go back and check them out, for sure! Yesterday one of hers from a couple years ago popped up in my feed "Seint Makeup application for beginners" and that one was helpful. Thanks for the suggestion!! :)
Kate Middleton look-alike for sure! 😁
Aw, thanks! I definitely have heard that before. :)
Looks real good going to ck it out around where I live
Try Demi to correct it
Yes, I will have to give it a go. There are a few pink colors that I think would work well for my undereye.
I finally ordered the Demi and gave it a try. Still figuring it out (I feel kinda lost at times LOL), and posted a first impression video. Still on the fence if I'm going to keep or return them, but I'm really trying to give it a go. :)
The cold may be the healing process taking place worldwide caused by solar activity ☀️✨ it comes and goes until we are better
what is the color of the it under eye you use?
It is the Bye Bye Undereye in the shade Medium.
I used to sell this stuff and honestly- I would rather buy Ben Nye, MakeupForever, or other pro cream brands vs this. 😬
I feel bad saying that, but feel it needs to be said
From the accessibility perspective I totally get it. I’m a sucker for just grabbing products at the drugstore or Ulta. I am really curious about other cream products to try though, the high pigmentation in them really works well for my melasma. I’ll have to give those a try!
@@MaryZeti I just can't get behind the predatory practices of MLM's. That said- this introduced me to cream and I love it for that
I thought either Pippa or Kate Middleton was doing a review. Lol. You look like you could be a sister to them.
I wish! :)
Try Demi.
Agreed. I think that line would have the correct color for my undereye.

I ordered my products and was shocked how small the containers were. I was not impressed
Totally get it. I will admit, the first order I placed (I think it was a few tins worth) was a bit of a sticker shock.
THANK UOU
Absolutely, and you are very welcome!! :)
I absolutely do not like this make up for older skin. It is cakey and dry! I was color matched and think colors are right but the texture of this make up is DRY unlike what appears in videos when model applies them. The blush even is dry! I complained to my seller & she said, 'run hair dryer on it to soften', needless to say couldn't return them but I am definitely NOT RECOMMENDING THIS PRODUCT. The videos of models applying are not reality. I have good skin & this is a very spackley makeup. Totally disappointed in the advertising of the product.
I totally get it. I have really struggled with the contour. And I didn’t like the advice to ‘just heat the product up’ either.
That’s my opinion, but I think this is the most horrible make up I have ever used. It’s so thick and unyielding. I have tried everything and I used to be a make up artist.
That's a bummer, but I totally get it. We all like different things. :)
I think you look like Kate Middleton.
Thank you!! :) I've definitely heard that before. :)
You look enough like her to be Kate Middleton's double!
Aw, thank you, I do hear that often! :)
