I've been in Ashton Gate stadium and I'd say it's the nicest stadium I've ever been in. A lot of 2020's indoor theatre events in Bristol were moved to Ashton Gate.
Nice, I live near the Greater Ciderland Metroplex. We also make jam and cheese here. The town of Cheddar is just a few minutes drive away. Yes, that Cheddar.
Always remember a rugby game at the Memorial Ground in the early 1980s. It was so foggy you couldn’t see half way across the pitch. Fond memories of amateur rugby.
I've been at the cricket ground when a ball hit an apartment window. The glass is pretty sturdy as some of the windows are the height of the entire floor, so they crack internally but don't shatter. Don't know if it's true, but I've heard it mentioned that the cricket club have an agreement to pay for any windows that break.
Those pictures of the Memorial Stadium are out of date, the South Stand and Southwest Stand (the "tents" at the bottom end) were replaced a couple of years ago. They're planning to redevelop the East Stand and Thatcher's End next. The picture of the outside of SGS is also out of date - the grass pitch surrounded by a running track is now a 4G American football field, used by the SGS Pride and the Bristol Apache. And Bath City's ground was also home to Bristol Rovers for around 10 years, before they moved into the Memorial Stadium in 1997.
I prefer a shower. There is an example of the worlds biggest shower of 💩 in my home city, Manchester ,who plays at Old Trafford, the footie, not cricket ground.😊
My family is from Yorkshire but I was born in Downend, Bristol due to my dad working in the aircraft industry .the family returned North when l was about 8 years old , Yes l do drink Yorkshire tea and have a small soft spot for Rovers.
Bristol Rovers also played at Twerton Park back in the 80s/90s
Always look forward to your videos!
It is like a geography lesson. I do apkeeciate your sense if humor!
Thanks!!
Cheers!

I was there 2019 to all stadiums and arenas. Bath as well.
What a nice surprise in the second half. Great as always.
Are we going to see Rovaniemi, home of Santa Claus for Christmas?
A 5000 seater arena starts building in Jan 26 at Ashton Gate for the Bristol Fliers basketball team.
Bristol sport has a nice modern stadium.
yes, Bristol, nearest city to me and including the club i support
Up the city!
Team Bath also used to be a football team, run out of the university. They moved in with Bath City eventually, before calling it quits.
good vid but I'd have liked to hear a bit more about ashton gate
Did man use another mic?
Most times the sound sounds clearer.
Same as always.
bristol county ground is very beautifull
With so few to choose between Bristol and Bath, I'd say it's a wash.
I prefer a shower.
