Yaaayy ! Hallelu Yah ! ❤Good News ! Its awesome how His Majesty just carries us along..like..when will you trust me.?❤ lovely story . Thank you ! I got my smile back !❤
According to the video, one cannot get a second opinion with another rabbi. From a medical standpoint, before involving any rabbi directives, sure you can ask how many doctors you want. The miracle here may be that the original rabbi changed the directive (by grace of the Creator manifested through the rebbe) in part by the delay in the reply and part because of the particular surgeon (out of countless) that happened to have a different suggestion.
I'm from Baltimore where i was not yet frum. In the 70's and 80's, I would go over to my frum cousins' house from time to time. I remember hearing them say Reb Moshe. I had no idea who they were talking about- but i understood he must be someone important.
When Rav Moshe gave his ruling it was correct. We save the mother's life at the sacrifice of the fetus. But once it was 40 days the fetus is considered a proper human being and we don't kill one to save the other. In this scenario, we can't blame either of the Rabbis since they both gave the appropriate response. But the Rebbe knew that the couple really wanted to keep this baby, and deliberately delayed the response until 40 days were up, and in a way gave them an alternative option.
@@jovaniskandar5089The Rebbe did not want to dispute Rav Moshe's peak, so kept quiet until the peak would change. A Rebbe sees things we do not understand/see. That's why the Rebbe was the Rebbe. A Rov's job is to make a decision based on the situation and question at hand. Both the Rebbe and Rav Moshe were very close and understood each other.
Unlike the pope, or the president, our greatest leaders are approachable, even by the small people, Reb Moshe was KNOWN as Reb Moshe, he had no need for honouriffics, look at the artscroll biography, it is also titled "Reb Moshe"
beautiful story - thanks!
GD BLESS ALL THE JEWISH PEOPLE IN ISREAL AND AROUND THE WORLD AND MAY WE HAVE OUR THIRD TEMPLE AND MESSIAH SOON
There's a mistake in the subtitle at the beginning of the video, the father's name is Amnon, not Amos. 0:24

This i find very moving. Dr Rachel Long.
I'm not sure the explanation was clear. The Rebbe deliberately delayed his answer so that 40 days would pass and the halachic ruling would change.
thanks, didnt click that part.
Beautiful message, it's always important to get a second opinion.

Gratidão Rebbe ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Amazing BH
Baruch Hashem, beautiful.
the ways of God & his servants are deep.
Incredible. I wonder why the Rebbe was waiting 😊
By waiting until 40 day mark the halachic status changed, this resulted in a new ruling from reb Moshe.
@@moshecraices Rav Moshe
@@MenachemRephunhe is literally called 'Reb Moshe" by most anyone.
Baruch Hashem!
Wow.
❤👍
🙏🙏🙏
BH! How beautiful!
The Rebbe’s genius-“running out the clock” so it would be 40-plus days into the pregnancy.
Wow 😲😳 amazing story I'm glad that it had a happy ending 😢😢😢😢😢
Very lucky too. It could have turned out very differently as anyone in the medical profession has seen.
Great outcome -but, what if she had had heart failure before the birth? Both could have been lost!?

Psak
It's Rav Moshe Feinstein (zt'l), not "Reb". He was the Posek Hador, not just a regular person.

It's all Hashem, Baruch Hashem
this sounds like you should ask for second opinion even when it comes to ravs
Rav Moshe Feinstein, not "Reb."
Reb, not Rav
