COFFINS / SECOND TO NONE "Nine Cocoons of Dens to F" [Full Split]

New split release from Japanese doom-death veterans Coffins and Second to None, released early 2018 on Daymare Recordings. Two tracks from each band, with Coffins delivering their usual style of material while Second to None (who have been around since 1993 but have only put out one LP and a handful of singles/EPs to date) have a similar sound but with more melodic/gothic parts in the vein of the early Peaceville doom bands.

I like how the album title is just the names of the bands, with all the letters rearranged. When I first looked at it, I tried to figure out what the title meant, and then it occurred to me. Interesting... thanks! =][=
