I have never actually watched this music video before, and now that I have I just have to say that this video belonged to Britney and even better, it showed that’s she’s still a fantastic dancer/performer and hasn’t lost the goofy personality that has made so many people love her over the years. This video and it’s dance sequences reminded me SO much of Britney’s older videos, especially with the focus of the choreography being simple and not some flashy spectacle. And bless the pop music gods for letting her dance again in SNEAKERS!!! It looks like she was having so much fun in this video and it showed in everything she did. The way her eyes light up and the genuine smiles she has in this video and the Billboard performance I think she did with Iggy, shows me that she was right when she said back when circus was released “that she didn’t like the word comeback because she has been here the whole time”, bc between the Billboard performance and this video, it’s easy to see that the old Britney has been here all along! It’s when she’s allowed to just have fun and be in her element that the energy and light return to her eyes! And I am here for it! They tried to stifle every bit of individuality and spirit from her in the conservatorship, and this is one of the many times that she has shown everyone and those criminals that she will not go away quietly!
I do have to point out one thing that I LOVED in both the video and the billboard performance, and that was the fact that the main artist in the track spends her time walking around while the featured artist aka my girl Britney, is up there with the dancers PERFORMING during both performances as opposed to the featured artist that is headlining! That just shows the X-factor and talent that Britney has ALWAYS had and that no one else has been able to replicate in the past two decades. I love Britney and always will! ❤
She had SO MUCH FUN with this video 😭😭😭 I wish she could get back to putting her energy into what truly made her happy. Dance and music.
