DJ Pain 1 Back in the day when they had me on their top reviews website twice I told you that they shit on a guitar sample you had used on a beat I rapped over. Now they collaborated on a Pain production.

cool so when you chop a sample and pitch it up do you only pitch it up in semi tones? or do you use cents as well. Im asking because if you pitch it up by cents then it wont match a standard piano as far as pitch, just curious about that thanks

I would record like 2 minutes of me playing drums on a casio keyboard, then go back and dub two minutes of keys on top of it, then go back and dub two minutes of bass on it etc. Once my older brother put me onto sequencing software i never looked back. I think my first sequencing software was propellerhead ReBirth.

I only use cents for samples that are out of tune.
