Great info DJ Pain 1... Thank you for sharing your knowledge and technique...
Watching this in 2021 is really significant on the fact that you came a long way by being consistent, peace General
as a producer i know this producer right here is seriously talented.
Ah man. So cool. Love this beat :) You're a big inspiration for me, pain 1!
DJ PAIN 1 IS THE TRUTH
***** Don't you also use NI Maschine MKII looking at your profile picture.
Maschine is dope too. but what did you start with Bro! hardware or software.?
***** you got rear gear but dope at the same time. I never owned a Hardware before i have fucked with an MPC2000XL once.. which was my friend's. i start fruity loop then now in Logic Pro. looking to get maschine MkII soon
The way you arranged this beat and your other sample-heavy beats really influenced my arrangement skills and turning beats into records. Thank you Pain 1.
mad inspiration man
Dj Pain dope bruh keep it coming #bless

Keep up your process explanation man! Upcoming producers really benefit from this information!
Thanx for those drums! Acid Pro lives on!

im not gonna lie.....all i kept asking myself was about that snare in the track...Thank you man
you are hip hop my brotha......
One of the best videos Ive seen. Short, straight to the point, yet full of knowledge. How do you determine the BPM of the beat you're creating and how do you feel about chopping samples into quarter notes?
im a big fan of your work! keep it up, i support you and i really appreciate you sharing your knowlegde with everyone! I wonder tho, how do you get in contact with artists like meek mill /game/ ludacris?
Me tele!
Nice beat Subbed..
That's ironic that Cool & Dre had something to do with this.
Keep it up, Pain.
DJ Pain 1 Back in the day when they had me on their top reviews website twice I told you that they shit on a guitar sample you had used on a beat I rapped over.
Now they collaborated on a Pain production.
DJ Pain 1 how did you get your music to them? do you know The Game or some of his people?
Can you please tell me which bass you used in that Trilogy VST?
Hey Pain , how can i get the drum kit in 2021?:)))
Hey DJ Pain 1,
What is the sample called on this track?
i dont hear beats like this often!! nice work man. and like that sample you used. do you think theres more flexibility using a midi keyboard than, say akai mpc??
Can anyone tell the name of this sample??
Great Video! I see you got the legendary ASR-10. Question, how were you able to convert your ASR to pro tools?
Sorry, i mean how were you able to convert your sound from the ASR to the lap top. Was they're any particular equipment needed?
cool so when you chop a sample and pitch it up do you only pitch it up in semi tones? or do you use cents as well. Im asking because if you pitch it up by cents then it wont match a standard piano as far as pitch, just curious about that thanks
DJ Pain 1 ok I see very cool , and my last question is do you chop with any time stretching to match your tempo or do you base the tempo on the samples bpm? peace!
The beat is so detailed. I still don't understand how you do all of this in sony acid. I've only ever used acid to track things. It's so odd to me!
It woulda not been odd if it was fruity loops huh?? It aint what you use, its the brains behind the beat...
***** Not at all. I can name about 15 smash hit songs that were made with FL, pop, edm and hip-hop.
DJ Pain 1 I was just telling him that you can make some hot shit in Acid also. he thought it was weird. So i said it would have not been weird to him if you were using FL studios. yes Fl is a monster, but its not what you use its the persons brains that makes hot shit
***** bro i don't JUST use fruity loops. If you check my channel you'll see that i have a firrm grasp on FL, Reason, Ableton Live, ALL the tracking features in sony acid, Aaudacity and a few other DAWs. I host highest rated Reason 5 Beginners tutorial on youtube on my channel too. Clowning on me gains you nothing.
***** When i first started making beats when i was like 14, i used Sonic Foundry acid. I would record like 2 minutes of me playing drums on a casio keyboard, then go back and dub two minutes of keys on top of it, then go back and dub two minutes of bass on it etc. Once my older brother put me onto sequencing software i never looked back. I think my first sequencing software was propellerhead ReBirth.
You live what I tweet about haha
lol why should Jadakiss be one of my favorite rappers?!
