Thank you very much Doris! Just catching up on this after returning home from the event. I was nervous and my hand was literally shaking, so it was tricky!
wAtching from Mexico ... incredible work from the organizers and artisits alike ... I should have been there but forces were against me and I had to cancel ... I am so sad
Quite tricky to explain. Its absorbancy and lack of exterior sizing - in many ways a disadvantage - is very different to cotton papers. My method has developed alongside the paper. If I paint on cotton now I get unwanted dry-brush effect everywhere, now I'm used to moving the brush very fast, doing things in one or two washes max, with almost no overpainting/glazing.
Gorgeous, simply captivatingly beautiful. I am happy that I could watch......
Watching from Poland. Happy
Thank you for your kind words!
I could watch you paint all day, love your choice of colours. Gorgeous finished painting. Thanks

Excellent! I’m adding IR to my palette. Masterful sky and painted so confidently.
Thanks, Reed. Well, it might look confident! Be warned that Indian Red (mine is by W&Newton, by the way) is pretty opaque.
A very enjoyable demo, great to see the magic unfold!
Thank you, Emma!

Why do you use such cheap paper?
