First of all, we all are Indian. We should not hate each other. But, it being a difference in policy matter, there should be changes in any system for betterment or to cope up with the new environment. Congress has ruled the country for more than 50 years. In view of its weak potency in transforming the economy, we all should support BJP under Narendra Modi at the Centre, who is really doing something concrete for the country. He should rule for at least 2 more terms.

There was a consolidation of the Assamese vote but it included the votes of not just Hindus but Muslims, Christian and Sikhs also. Please study the results closely before you come to such a divisive conclusion (as usual). The only Muslims who did not support the BJP combine are the illegal Bangladeshis who the Congress had sheltered for decades. Those days are over.

@ndtv I thought Mani Shanker Aiyer has good skills in English. Decimated means to be reduced by 10%, i.e. get shrunk to 90%. Just saying... Yes, it does not describe their performance accurately. Decimate is an understatement.

You are correct Adivasis of Assam have elected BJP only for Adivasis identity that is schedule tribe status . Barkha Dutt I am confirmed if ST status bill not passed in the Parliament within 2020 the BJP party will have no place for the party . I suppose you know about Adivasis identity as holding ST status all over India but few have conspired against the Adivasis . If the BJP party does repeat the same then BJP party will be washed away from Assam . I assure you Madam BJP party will be able get a zero seat in Assam .
