I think the lettuce is so much higher because all the other greenhouse crops can be further processed into other productions. Lettuce is the only one that can't be used for anything
@@coffeecoffee5914water is free if you go to the river, or you could invest 1500 into a small rice field and fill it any time you need to fill your trailer Edit: didn’t realize he showed it in the video ( went to the comments first lol)
Love it. I took the lazy route and insta-sell my lettuce in 4 Greenhouses. I know they dont get their max value back, BUT keep the water up and its just a 24/7 passive income. Dont need to do anything.
Before I start the video: - Lettuce (its the only non production one here so its value is like 2.5x-3x) - more greenhouses just snowball - Unless timings are perfect, my solo save earns on -20% less on selling vs storing and manually selling. The difference being less effort / time wasted doing manual loading and selling so this leaves more irl time to cultivate / do other things with other fields and revenues. If you want to do separate things and do manual selling, since lettuce is above 1k cycles you can put it in every greenhouse. Split each greenhouse into 2 products - lettuce and [INSERT] with the other being 1 of 4 Kimchi products. These can then be set to distribute and sent to make Kimchi which can be palleted up and sold along with the Lettuce later on. The only real issue with Lettuce is its water requirements - it uses about 3.5k litres of water per month, so every ~5 month you need to refill greenhouses (~4 month if you do multi crop). It can easily be done with a Rice Field nearby to refill but if you dont have space or you actually use your Rice fields there can be a slight issue refilling come summer time since the fields are being used.
I would also opt to autosell lettuce as a money printer for the farm if the main focus was on growing crops. Sometimes the manual loading is fun though, so I always change things up.
That’s helpful thanks as was the video. Am I right in thinking the more things you have growing the less are produced of each item? I clicked everything to grow and barely got any pallets
Rice saplings are also a greenhouse product you can sell..... I know they use a LOT of water and have very low cycle but still. BTW I have an area with several greenhouses with a small rice field in the center as a decorative water feature.
It's interesting that in your test enoki made so much more money than oyster muschrooms. I've calculated the profits for both and it was supposed to be little difference (per month) in favor of oysers, maybe my in game price affected that.
Yeah so if I remember correctly, the enoki had just put out a new pallet when I stopped the production, but the oyster hadn’t put out that last pallet yet. Each pallet of oyster mushrooms is worth more than 2k so that would’ve made them closer.
I sold all of them at the peak price and let them all produce as many pallets as possible in 6 months. Oysters sell higher, but produce less so it evens out.
Just the fact that you only need water is lame…can’t wait for modders to release green houses that require seeds, fertilizer and water. Might see if I can edit some base game ones myself.
You are completely correct, however most of the people watching this video (myself included) would rather see someone else sum it up than do the math themselves.

good to know! I plan to look into whether productions are worth it, so I'll get the answer then.
It also requires the most water input

There are profabibilty sheets for productions avaible quite useful

Right on!
Good video, exactly what I was looking for
Glad it helped!
Great video! Thank you for putting in the time to show us this!
Glad you like it!

Just subbed 👌👋
Awesome, thank you!
Good video bro I like the informative content
Appreciate it
missed Rice saplings
Yes, I realized that after recording lol

Yes, I did think about the rice saplings, but only after the fact lol. I like the decorative idea!

Distribute the peppers, onion, garlic and Napa cabbage into the cannery for kimchi. Easiest production so far. And less pallets to deal with.
Yes I’m considering making a video testing various productions to see if they’re worth it
@@fastfarmer814would love to see this!
If you wait for peak price, oyster is far better than enoki, that's if you're on the ball with clearing the pallet area so it doesn't stop producing

sir u know how to store herbicade from tank trailer to silo or something to store?..its cannot unload from trailer tank
I'm not quite sure what you mean...
@@fastfarmer814 how to store herbicade at silo?
I’m not sure. I haven’t messed around with that yet. Sorry
There is both silo and large tanks in the modhub that store herbicide
Shhhh, do not spill the tea on Lettuce!
But water is free if you just buy a water tower unit
Yes, but if you already have rice fields for growing rice, you can also use them to fill the trailer for free as a side benefit.

Agreed! At this point, these are pretty much printing money. I'd love to see some more realistic ones...
You could do all this with simple math instead of doing the field testing. Each greenhouse lists the water, product, and cycles in the descriptions.
But then we don’t get to watch a fun video:’(
