some beauticians can damage your hair too, there are some box dyes are safe and don't have harsh chemicals so it really depends
she could fro her hair out and put on a headband when she goes outside. she looks like she has a head full of gorgeous hair except she ripped out her hairline/edges. she could possibly grow it back if she massaged it and put castor oil on it or something.

I feel bad and don't feel bad for her at the same time. It's terrible that she has permanently lost a lot of her hair, but she should not have just combed out her hair with the glue still on. She should have been patient and let the solution unstick to the hair.

As a woman, I seriously almost cried hearing her story. We put so much into our hair. I know I feel self conscious all day if my hair doesn't turn out right, and hate leaving the house like that. I can understand how it can make her feel ugly. Hope the hair lady did a great job.

As someone with health issues that has made over half of my hair fall out and then using extensions to fix it also causing severe pulling and bald spots. Seeing this really makes me want to stay inside. I seriously want to scream. Just keep the wig on!!! You look beautiful!!! It's REALLY not that bad!!!! Trust me!!!!!

You're awesome! I live near a lady who is a cancer survivor and she doesn't wear a wig and, I swear, she has the most beautiful face and glow because she stared death in the face and won. She realizes what's most important -- life...not beauty. This girl is so beautiful. That wig isn't necessary.

No, I used to be very attached to physical aspects too...and then I asked myself, "Why?" Nothing in this life is guaranteed, and to cling onto such superficial things makes you a vulnerable person. You have to accept your inner self, and learn to let go of those things. Enjoy them for the moment, but don't create such an attachment that the loss of it destroys you.

I know how she feels, I traumatic brain injury and they had to cut the front of my hair to do a cratiotomy, the TUMOR was near my memory part of my brain it was the size of a lrg apple.
They took it out, now I have clips,and screws holding down my scalp, so it can heal, the front where they cut ,some spots hair don't grow

I have to say I'm struggling to have sympathy for this woman. She kept messing with her hair more and more and more even when it was getting messed up. I understand what it is like to have aloecia areata and would love to have my hair back, but come on... stop messing with the hair, otherwise by the time you are 40, you will look 85! I have alopecia. My hair started falling out at 14 and I'm 25 now and mine will probably never grow back. In middle school I cried over it because I was bullied so much over it. Now, I'm to the point where I don't care what people say my husband thinks I'm beautiful and I know that there are so many other things to be heartbroken over! It's hair and as long as she stops being lazy and takes care of her hair it'll grow back.
