They are so lucky GTA 6 got pushed back, they need to milk this as much as possible. 1 year to make as much as possible. The price is $80 for standard game.
I’m not just a nostalgic thirty-something, and I respect the improvements made in recent COD Zombies. The graphics, animations, and movement fluidity are clearly better, and I do appreciate that.
But I believe some key design choices from the past should have never been removed. In older Zombies, you could choose how to play - you could run, camp, defend, or stick together. You could create defensive zones, build teamwork, and really develop strategies.
Now, it’s just constant movement. If you stop, you die. Zombies are too fast and everywhere. There’s no reward for thinking, no real team coordination.
And Easter Eggs? They used to be mysterious, intense, and meaningful. Now they’re easy, short, and once you finish them… that’s it. You lose interest. That’s not how it should be.
I still open Black Ops 3 or Black Ops 2 today and play as if it were the first time - because those maps created an emotional bond. Even after finishing the Easter Egg, you want to play more. You feel something.
BO7 can still be great. Just bring back what gave Zombies its soul. Improve, yes. But don’t forget what made people fall in love with it.
You know what i honestly loved all the points you made. And yea I believe in a way to keep core elements while in a way implementing that sorta fastness some people are now used to. While also having different ways to strategize and play :)
