“Deadliest” Israeli Strike On Lebanon Kills Seven, Hezbollah Strikes Back with Rocket Barrage

- Hezbollah fired a barrage of rockets into northern Israel killing a civilian, after Israel carried out a deadly strike in south Lebanon. The Israeli military said it struck a “military compound” in Hebbariye and those killed were al-Jamaa al-Islamiya "terrorists". It said a "significant terrorist operative" and other members of the Hamas-aligned group were planning attacks against Israel. Hours later, Hezbollah said it retaliated against the airstrike by firing dozens of rockets on the northern Israeli city of Kiryat Shmona and a military base there. Around 30 rockets were launched from Lebanon towards northern Israel, according to the Israeli military. Watch the video to know more about the latest attacks.

Who supplies arms to Israel? According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute's arms transfers database, 68 percent of Israel's weapons imports between 2013 and 2022 came from the US. Israel also receives military imports from: Germany, UK, France, Australia, Canada.
