    After watching this I’ve manage to fit my rectifier cover
    I thought it slid into the cage
    So I thank you for this up load 🎉

    When I saw this video posted I rubbed my hands with glee as I have already fitted the same rectifier guard and given the " fun" I had installing it I was waiting for the language and dummy spit when you were going to do this install 😀 then you did your install and I said WTF!!. You had a simple install and not at all like mine.. seems the builds on the bikes are different. You did simple undo two bolts and replace with the Allen head bolts provided. Well be aware to some of you that on mine the extraction of the original bolts is fraught with the hassle that the bolts keep turning as they actually have a nut on the other side all nicely hidden away under plastic shrouds under the seat. And due to their small size and difficulty to reach are prone to slipping away from your meagre finger grip. I lost one as it dropped deep into the recesses of the frame never to be found again!! So be warned 😀. Yours must be built differently with a fixed bolt or threaded female end so wasn't a problem for you. And I so wanted to feel.yiur pain doing this one hahaha

      I just had the same problem on my RR
      Lost both nuts in the depths of the battery box
      Then I couldn’t seem to slip the rectifier in the cage?
      So gave up before it drives me made
      Reinstated the lot
      May ask if my local dealer to fit it on the first service

    Good timing I got mine today. Thinking of stripping the red anodising and getting it done in gold to match the forks

    We do seem to be making the same subject videos at the same time LOL. Good thing you exchanged your Ninja 1000SX or they would think we were doing it deliberately. Nice vid. My second part is up soon :)

    Looks snazzy but what is it supposed to do?

    • @sergeantsodom6969

      Helps to reduce damage on the left hand side in the event of a crash - not so much on the right!

    Can you use any single sided paddock stands with the rear Evotech slider?

    • @sergeantsodom6969
      @sergeantsodom6969  2 роки тому +1

      Unfortunately not, you'd have to remove it every time. However I use a constand which alleviates this problem

    Why does the axel slider only stick out on one side

    • @sergeantsodom6969
      @sergeantsodom6969  2 роки тому

      Being a single sided swingarm, the right hand side pick would have to be long enough to get past the exhaust, which would look stupid & probably put too much tortional stress on the slider in the event of a crash, causing either more damage it being pointless
